It may feel a little alien going back to playing a more classically-styled Assassin's Creed game after the astonishing Assassin's Creed Origins, but Assassin's Creed Rogue still shines bright.- GameSpew

More could have been done to make Heavy Rain a bit more palatable for modern audiences, but the fact is that it’s still a great story-driven game despite its myriad of issues.- GameSpew

Redout is one of the most delightfully high-octane, edge-of-my-seat racing games in recent memory. It’s a thrilling adrenaline rush of an experience. It’s a finely-tuned joyride that’s been polished and balanced until it shines in a cornucopia of flashy colours.- GameSpew

Monster Energy Supercross 3 is yet another great Supercross racing experience by Milestone. It’s a shame that the developer has trimmed content from the career mode rather than add to it or give it more meaning, but improvements elsewhere make an impact. Thanks to improved physics, the usual graphical tweaks and the introduction of dedicated servers, Monster Energy Supercross 3 is the best entry in the series to date.- GameSpew

I’m already itching to get back into the Gungeon. Even if it’s occasionally frustrating, it’s still an addictive, rewarding experience. Polished gameplay and accessibility make way for fun, frantic and stylish firefights, whilst the classes add variety and cater to different playstyles. It’s a game that feels great to play alone, and is probably even better with a friend through local co-op. Simplistic, yet full of depth, Enter the Gungeon deserves to be in your collection.- GameSpew

CLeM isn’t a very long game: you’ll finish it in around three hours, much less if you know what you’re doing with all the puzzles. Short but sinisterly sweet, then, it’s just the right length to fit in a good amount of puzzles without overstaying its welcome. If you’re a fan of Mango Protocol’s other games – or indeed anything with a slightly dark undertone – you’ll love this.- GameSpew

The Escapists: Complete Edition looks crisp and beautiful on the Nintendo Switch. The pixelated prisoners and officers have never looked better, as as with any game rereleased on Nintendo’s handheld hybrid, the ability to play on the go is a massive boon.- GameSpew

Frostpunk 2 takes the already excellent original and improves on it in some suitably satisfying ways. It's an excellent city-builder, especially if you're prepared to take lessons from failure.- GameSpew

If you’re a fan of fast-paced platforming and like a challenge, consider Garlic a must-have. Add to that its budget price and its excellent sense of humour, and you have an indie gem that really does deserves more attention than it’s had so far.- GameSpew

It’s only a simple game, but it’s hard to sit down with Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective and not be taken in by its charm. Its labyrinths never frustrate, instead opting to entertain players with unadulterated humour as they make their way through them. And when coupled with both a quirky soundtrack and sumptuous 2D visuals that are a treat for the eyes, you have an easy-going puzzle adventure that’s suitable for all ages and skill levels. A feel-good gem, that’s what Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective is.- GameSpew

It may not be quite the leap forward that some would expect from a fully-fledged sequel, but it can’t be denied that Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes is still an accomplished fighting game. With its expanded roster, new mechanics and implementation of valued features such as rollback netcode, this is an enticing offer for series fans. And while newcomers might have a hard time when dipping their toes into its online offerings, it at least offers a myriad of ways for them to improve their skills.- GameSpew

For those who enjoyed Resident Evil Village and want to spend more time with it, perhaps also getting a hint as to where the series is heading next, the Winters’ Expansion should be considered a must-have. Shadows of Rose offers an enjoyable shot of true horror, Additional Orders invigorates Mercenaries mode with new life, and third-person mode gives players another way to experience two campaigns. For the modest asking price, why wouldn’t you want to make your copy of Resident Evil Village feel definitive?- GameSpew

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game succeeds in being a more varied, interesting and accessible entry in Saber’s Runner series, although it’s still on the challenging side and has niche appeal. We’ve had a great deal of entertainment from it though, and will continue to do so — it’s 70-plus expeditions present a seriously considerable time investment. With DLC and a co-op mode to come, it’s likely to get even better, too. Ultimately, it’s not for everyone. But for those who dream of navigating harsh environments in an assortment of vehicles, it’s a blast.- GameSpew

If you’re a shoot ’em fan, there’s no better way to play this classic. The visuals may be a little dated, but it’s hard not to be impressed by some of the enemy designs, now rendered in high resolution. And as you make your way through Raiden IV x Mikado Remix‘s impressive array of modes, the remixed soundtrack is sure to pump you up, driving you to perform better than ever before. Needless to say, this classic slice of arcade action remains as entertaining as ever.- GameSpew

This new version of Until Dawn for PS5 and PC certainly impresses with its enhanced visuals, but other changes will likely prove to be hit or miss with fans. In any case, this remains an excellent cinematic horror game with a gripping story and an interesting cast of characters. It's just a shame that an upgrade isn't available for PS4 owners of the game, and that new features such as local multiplayer haven't been added.- GameSpew

Thanks to being able to jump in for free, you can’t really go wrong with Pinball M. Featuring the same solid physics as found in Pinball FX along with its its comprehensive list of play modes and features, this is yet another stellar pinball offering by Zen Studios. Jump in and give the free table a go, then if any of the DLC tables pique your interest, expand your game as you see fit. Best viewed as a companion to Pinball FX, it’s going to be interesting to see which tables based on more mature properties are added in the future.- GameSpew

In my eyes, MotoGP 17 is the best instalment of Milestone’s MotoGP efforts yet. The Managerial Career really adds a great deal to the package, and the racing itself keeps you on the edge of your seat due to its authenticity.- GameSpew

The open-world mission system, the way you can buy ship schematics to try and change up your layouts and tactics, the way it lets you determine whether or not you want to split up mission-critical cargo into more manageable (and defensible) chunks, the seamless inclusion of multiplayer contracts and trading and the fact that it feels quite unlike anything else out there really pushes it into a whole other dimension. One with space pirates and awesome guns.- GameSpew

As Media.Vision’s first crack at the series, Summon Night 6 is a surprisingly solid entry in the series. While we were unable to get our hands on any of the physical packaging that Gaijinworks is known for, their localisation efforts shine through clearly. While strategy RPGs may be harder to come by these days, Summon Night 6 is a thirst quenching oasis for any genre-loving desert travellers.- GameSpew
