Storytelling, atmosphere, playability, graphics, music, characters, everything in Mass Effect 2 screams the word KOLOSSAL out loud! This game, and this saga, deserve to sit right next to Sci-Fi classics such as Star Wars and Star Trek. Masterpiece.- GamesNation

It is quite evident that Rockstar have made a huge effort in creating Red Dead Redemption. And it was well worth it because this game boasts an incredible level of depth from all points of view: storyline, character design, structure of the environments, gameplay solutions, controls, multiplayer. Everything is just like we wanted it.- GamesNation

The result is outstanding: FIFA 10 is a spectacular football simulation, one all fans should never miss. The good job done on the previous edition has been expanded and enhanced in this new version, adding more realism than ever to all the gameplay and animation aspects. PES 2010 has just received its final warning.- GamesNation

Graphically stunning, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is, first of all, an interactive adventure, one that feels like a movie and even has a storyline of a movie. Most gameplay situations have been tailored in order to stun the player with originality and identification, and the end result is absolutely amazing.- GamesNation

What happens when a dev team listens carefully to all the feedback they got from the community? Something amazing like Assassin's Creed 2! This game is so much more thorough than its predecessor, and it has so much on offer that you’ll never want it to end!- GamesNation

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a masterpiece in terms of FPS gameplay and graphics. The different locations and the variety of situation you’ll encounter are often jaw-dropping. But it is also a controversial game for some extreme situations the player might encounter along the road.- GamesNation

Forza Motorsport 3 has finally become more than Microsoft’s response to Sony’s Gran Turismo. It is a mature and very realistic driving simulation, one that you will enjoy whether you’re a pro or a rookie of the driving genre. Excellent graphics, incredible sound samplings and all the fine tuning you want for over 400 vehicles are on offer. Hop in!- GamesNation

An easier gameplay doesn’t mean a worse gameplay, especially when you have so much more on offer in terms of storyline, action, interaction and graphics. Splinter Cell: Conviction marks a new beginning in the Splinter Cell series.- GamesNation

The only reason why we didn’t give our best vote to this game is because it is closely related to an event after which the title could lose part of its attractiveness (there are no league teams and there is no substantial change in the multiplayer mode). Other than this, the best just got better! FIFA World Cup 2010 is just a few inches from perfection.- GamesNation

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is definitely one of the best RPGs on Nintendo DS ever made. An admirable plot guides the player throughout the whole game, introducing a complex system of characters interaction and a series of very enjoyable fighting sessions against incredibly huge enemies. This is a game destined to stay in your DS for quite a while.- GamesNation

God of War III puts a glorious end to an epic trilogy, introducing astonishing scenarios and original gameplay solutions. It is simply the best hack ‘n slash out there right now. A must-buy even if you’re not a fan of this genre!- GamesNation

Left 4 Dead 2 is simply a must-have for all survival horror enthusiasts. The new game modes and the usual mix of adrenaline and co-op gameplay is the living(dead) proof that a sequel doesn’t always have to change its original nature to be enjoyable, very enjoyable!- GamesNation

In a unique single-player experience, Red Steel 2 brings the player into a stylish Samurai-Far Western world dominated by violence. A clever use of the Wii MotionPlus, some fine cosmetics and the wise balance between shooting and fighting sessions are the keys of its success.- GamesNation

Prototype had had to come to terms with some technical limitations in order to favour its open world environment and sandbox structure, but it did keep up the pace with and actually proved even better than some of the most spectacular productions, thanks to its Titanium Engine, which guarantees a solid frame rate throughout the game in spite of its unpredictable, hectic and fun-to-play gaming experience.- GamesNation

Heavy Rain is a masterpiece, but of a controversial kind, because not every player out there will be ready to understand and accept its rather unique and innovative gameplay. More like an interactive novel than an action game, its stunning visuals and music have set a new next-gen standard.- GamesNation

The Beatles: Rock Band is a great tribute to music’s history. As such, it has an undeniably strong appeal that should suffice, alone, to obtain a wide consent. Fortunately, it’s a great game as well, with loads of extras and exclusive features such as the new replicas of the band’s original instruments!- GamesNation

Fight Night Round 4 is a masterpiece of boxing simulation. Our vote didn’t reach 10 mainly because there are no real terms of comparison out there, and we would’ve liked a new career mode as well. Other than that, the new collision system, the real-time calculation of the boxers’ body weight and arms extension (not to mention the superb graphics!) translate into an as-close-to-real-as-it-can-get boxing experience.- GamesNation

Structural balance, evocative graphics, inspired character design. These are just a few of Aion’s assets. It is a game that has definitely met most of the highest expectations we all had. As such it is possibly the best available alternative to some of the most important MMORPG out there, including his majesty World of Warcraft!- GamesNation

SEGA made good use of the experience made with Empire to improve its RTS formula, resulting in a more effective gameplay. Although Napoleon: Total War has its shortcomings – even with the AI – it still manages to keep the player involved throughout, thanks to its thoroughness and rather accurate historical setting.- GamesNation
