Gameplay is fast and furious. For those who like to build up defenses and massive bases, you're going to find that it doesn't work so well this time around.

If there’s anything I’m not a huge fan of it’s the constant trek through the dungeons, which is akin to a first person shooter with crates, but Bethesda seems to be pretty creative with their dungeons so there’s not as much of a sense of been there done that as there is with many other RPGs.

I have nothing against casual edutainment titles that are fun for the whole family, but the marketing behind the game led me to believe I was getting into something more complex.

What it lacks in finer details and multiplayer functionality, it makes up for in backstory and dynamic, fluid, fast-paced gameplay. It’s not a classic, and it’s no Homeworld, but genre buffs could also do a lot worse.

The shipped version of Silent Hunter IV feels like little more than a half-working teaser of things to come.

It's certainly better than "Shining Tears," but it is by no means as good as those classic Shining titles.

The game remains true to the series in catering more toward the hardcore element despite good attempts at making the game accessible; Armored Core 4 easily offers up the hottest mech-on-mech action yet in this next generation.

It is an almost flawless role-playing game experience with hundreds of hours' worth of content.

The time you spend earning it is well worth it, not just because it makes your hero stronger but also because of the additive fun you have along the way. Despite the torturous AI, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is easily one of the most original games to hit the PlayStation Portable.

In the end, that’s all this game is about: experience. The time you spend earning it is well worth it, not just because it makes your hero stronger but also because of the additive fun you have along the way.

Perhaps this genre has simply run its course, but Silverfall proves the old adage: no one out Diablos "Diablo."

Having hopes of a grandiose, multifaceted sci-fi adventure will leave you extremely disappointed in Earth Defense Force 2017. If you embrace its narrowly-focused action gameplay you’ll have a blast saving the planet one dead alien at a time.

The game experience isn’t all that far removed from the Xbox 360 version (to be fair there is a lot of new content that isn’t available anywhere but on the PS3), but it’s as good a game as any to pick up for PS3 owners starving for some valuable entertainment beyond SCEA’s first-party titles.

If you can get over the AI and the pop-in of the vehicles (which really aren’t game breakers) you will have an enjoyable time with this game. There is plenty to do and with 30+ missions, the game will keep you busy.

Graphically the game could have been better, and the controls take some getting used to, but other than that, this is a solid title, and with the PSP Link feature you can take your season on the go, which I really like.

The simple controls and straightforward gameplay make it possible for anyone to play. Unfortunately, the number of levels is too small for the game to have any lasting appeal and issues with the camera can be frustrating.

The motion-controls certainly deserve praise, but its assorted shortcomings stifle the game’s good qualities. Lackluster, repetitive missions and a horrid ranking system prevent Wing Island from being more than a short-lived diversion for your kids.

The problem is that the constant resource gathering and caring for these two characters is more work than fun - perhaps if this was toned down to a level where it wasn't as ridiculous the game would be a slam dunk.

Stay away from this game if you’re new to the series, and try to find yourself a copy of "Front Page Sports Baseball" or even "High Heat Baseball." I would recommend High Heat Baseball 2002 for your PC baseball simulation needs. Not only was the simulation aspect remarkable, but you could actually play the game as well.

Doesn't feel like a true Call of Duty game. Gamers can blame Amaze if they like or the difficulty of developing a shooter on the PSP format, but either way Call of Duty Roads to Victory falls short of expectations.

This game doesn’t really bring anything new to the series, but it’s still a really fun racer, especially with a lot of friends. The tracks are nice, the music is rockin’, and the graphics show what the PS2 can do when it’s being utilized at peak performance.

From the uninteresting story, to the mediocre voice acting, uninspired puzzles, and serious technical issues, there's really nothing to recommend here. The adventure game genre is not what it once was and your choices may be limited; nevertheless, The Awakened is not worth your time.
