Ultimately, Dragon Age: Origins is quite possibly the best game ever to come out of Bioware.

The sheer number of options make this game outstanding.

Possibly the best sports title for N64, and one of the best golf games to date. Most gamers and many non-gamers will find much to enjoy in this game if it is given a chance.

Assassin’s Creed 2 isn’t perfect – the controls continue to requite a bit more fine tuning but it’s also impossible to deny that the sequel improves upon the original in almost every conceivable way.

Bayonetta is a stunning orgy of sadistic mayhem that surpassed even my unreasonably high expectations, and proved that violence can be beautiful.

Freaking Phenomenal...the closest thing to perfection yet.

It is the package that shows gameplay that can only be accomplished with next-generation hardware. Coupled with the immersive graphical and audio experience made possible with the system, the combination makes it a must-buy for Xbox 360 owners seeking a great gaming experience and a way to show off their new toy.

And, for you PC gamers, World of Goo is without a doubt one of the best indie titles on Steam (or for other forms of digital distribution). The game features charming animate balls of goo, a refreshingly fun gameplay concept, and some of the best puzzling available on either platform.

The one frustrating aspect of the title. The difficulty level. It starts out really easy and progresses to insanely difficult.

Rockstar has set the bar for what downloadable content can be and I for one can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds in store.

FIFA 12 isn't perfect; the franchise still has some work to do in the AI department and the new physics model, which is a significant leap forward, needs its kinks worked out. However, this is the future of the series and you can see how it's taking shape. Despite its shortcomings it's absolutely worth the upgrade if you are coming in from FIFA 11.

Even after you unlock everything you will still be down to take on your friends with the multitude of things you acquired; such as throwback jerseys, courts, legends and street ballers.

If you're a fan of the sport – real or virtual – it's a must-buy.

The main quest is an enthralling tale that will thrust you into the battlefield of D.C., side-by-side with the Brotherhood of Steel, face to face with the illustrious DJ of Galaxy News Radio (my favorite station of the wastes), and aboard a reclaimed aircraft carrier. It's an epic journey, but when it's done, it's done. The only option after that is to start all over again with a brand new face. No complaints here.

An early Christmas present from Monolith and it is some violent and vicious online action that looks absolutely gorgeous, although players will need a pretty hefty gaming rig to experience it in all its glory.

It’s not often that a game comes about to justify the purchase, or even the existence of a particular console, but with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Nintendo has delivered a game that every DS owner should experience.

About the only crowd-favorite we seem to have gotten is "Boom Boom Dollar," but that's not to say the other songs stink, because they don't.

The Show remains the most realistic baseball game on the consoles, and continues its tradition in trying to address what the core user base demands. There are directions I'd like to see Sony take the franchise, but it remains about as safe a bet as you can get in this industry.

There's no loading time, ever, and you can always see some part of the map, fully animated, from where you currently are. It's a neat trick that isn't fully realized until you a few hours into playing.

The controls and general feel of the game are very shallow. At no point did I feel like I was in a truly 3D environment, and I never felt like I was actually cruising around in space.

While it's still not as good or creative as the original Super Mario 64, if there's one true claim to fame it can make, it's that you'll get your moneys worth if you really do try and complete the game 100%.

The game looks great. Granted, it's not in hi-res mode like its PS2 counterpart, but DC players get on-line play, so nyah, nyah.

Provided you have no problem affording the 4GB footprint, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is definitely worth taking for a spin.

P4 is constantly enveloped by an aura of dire urgency.

A sports game must, above all else, stay unpredictable. If things start to get stale or if you start losing faith in the design because you’ve seen everything there is to see then a game can quickly lose its appeal. And that‘s what makes The Show special. Things happen.

Everything is there right down to players talking on the field, including the most important thing of all, a crowd that is into the game.

Regardless of its brevity, price, or minor frustrations, this is one of the best games currently available on Xbox Live Arcade. It's also one of the most essential must-play experiences this generation.

It amazes me that a game of this caliber – that is to say, a game that is ridiculously good in spite of its missteps – comes just one year after its predecessor. It improves a lot, adds even more, and changes nothing I already adored. It's a shorter game than Assassin's Creed 2, if that matters, but aside from the storyline it's better in almost every way.
