Nintendo, how typical. It gives you a game that looks like a child's play. However, it gets you immediately, and it won't release you until you exploit everything that's hidden inside.- Games.cz

The core gameplay of Colin McRae Rally is more than solid. Its driving is fun and a challenge at the same time. Several technical issues will get you upset at the very end, but the biggest criticism goes to the surprisingly almost no content. Still, the new Colin McRae game deserves my recommendation, which is valid information at least for the rallye-positive gamers.- Games.cz

An absolutely fantastic RPG platformer that is old-fashioned in the one thing only - it won't give you anything for free, and it keeps you gaming till your death. This is not for the one-hit wonderers. There are few of this kind of games, of this kind of fun. Rogue Legacy is a fantasy miracle made of pixels.- Games.cz

An entertaining and truly funny game of the turn-based strategy genre. It's very well aware of its inability to compete with the Civilization or XCOM titles, so it approaches the genre in its own way. Because of this the game stumbles along the way sometimes, but for the most part it brings a fresh experience.- Games.cz

The special abilities of your playable character as the game fourth instalment's major crowd-puller are not free and easy as they should be, and from a certain point of view they actually do harm its gameplay. When you look at its content it's the third instalment, only extended. However, it lacks its previous charms. If you carry across some of the problems described in my review, the game will reward you with its crazy and funny experience, which becomes the series' custom. Just lower your expectations before the purchase.- Games.cz

A pleasant little game that is entertaining, indeed, but in fact it brings nothing new to the table. Besides, the game's length is terribly short.- Games.cz

An engaging space shooter with high difficulty level, slightly repeating environment, and decent level design that does not walk around the custom practice of the genre. Fans of the series are going to really enjoy this. However, the rest of you should look elsewhere.- Games.cz

Payday is no Dog Day Afternoon, so you won't make friends with hostages in a bank. Otherwise, this simulator game of a rubber will make your dreams come true. Yet the game lacks of some technological elegance.- Games.cz

Bitterblack Island is a truly solid challenge bringing fun and atmosphere that is, however, suffering from the game's monotonous setting, limited space manoeuvring, and the game's linearity. Still, if you've never played Dragon's Dogma, you'll get the original heavy title along with this expansion pack.- Games.cz

Brave New World brings a lot of new content along with new mechanics that do not, however, change or improve its gameplay. All's just chewed up. It's the same thing as with some immobile wrack, out of which you would try to make a movable cool car by just changing its transmission, respraying it with bee stripes, or by connecting a trailer to it. It just won't do. BNW is no BMW, even though it's not entirely its fault.- Games.cz

A humorous game with a charismatic and totally insane comic hero. However, it has a weak point - the action itself. Like delicious salsa on a stale ordinary tortilla.- Games.cz

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is everything a legit action RPG should be. No more, no less. If you are sick of all those killings like in the classic Diablo genre, and you desire a bit of creativity, look elsewhere. The rest of you hack-and-slash positive gamers should certainly think about a purchase.- Games.cz

Become a detective, who's using obstacles on his way as launching pads to his success. Gunpoint is a dope to the action-stealth genre with its entirely new and unorthodox gameplay. The only thing spoiling the overall experience is that the game is short.- Games.cz

Forget the rumours that Magrunner is just a cheap copy of Portal. That's a lie. In fact, there is no comparison to any title. This is simply one hell of a greatly thought-out puzzle game.- Games.cz

If you enjoy the Strike Suit Zero gameplay, but you don't like those things about it, then Infinity is going to make you happy. It has taken the original game mechanics with slightly few new details. Unfortunately, it has avoided any changes. Strike Suit Infinity is entertaining, however, it brings nothing new to the table.- Games.cz

Five new stories, five new protagonists, five new fifteen minutes. All for five euros. 400 Days is an appealing canapé with highly standard storytelling of the original. However, it partially loses its battle because of the title's short length and its lack of inner interconnection.- Games.cz

Company of Heroes 2 has its number two in the title somewhat wrongfully. This is not a sequel in its true meaning because it does not guide the series to a new way. This is only an enhancement enriching it with a few trifles and one new playable nation. Once again, it is the strongest in its multiplayer game. If Relic continues to deliver its usual expansion packs, the CoH 2 game is going to be better and better.- Games.cz

Rising Storm brings no shame on Red Orchestra 2. Quite the opposite, it strengthens its position as a multiplayer shooter game. The game's atmosphere, graphics, Japanese banzai attacks, and American weaponry along with balanced maps will get you. You will not find a better adapted battlefield of the Pacific War.- Games.cz

Do you feel like shooting something? Are you enjoying action games? Do you wish to be with other people in a world that's evolving not in the game itself but in its TV series as well? In that case feel free to try Defiance out. Just be expecting nothing more than some solid action that hardly holds your attention for a long period of time.- Games.cz

In the same way I've appraised Anomaly: Warzone Earth with score of eight for its unique approach to a tower defense style, I must highlight Anomaly 2 for taking the idea to perfection. Even with its relatively short gameplay, authors' thoroughness and diligence mirror in their impressive game.- Games.cz

If you are fans of Might and Magic: Heroes VI and you crave for some new content, the standalone expansion Shades of Darkness is a must-have. If you've never played the sixth installment, beware of a loads of unpleasant surprises originating in the game's strongly unbalanced AI.- Games.cz

Soul Sacrifice has a soul of a complete traditional Japanese video game. Do not be looking for an RPG along with exploring its world - small arenas, a branched and huge character's specialization system, and mainly the addicting gameplay are the king here.- Games.cz

Is it possible for a title of a dying platform to become a game of the year? The Last of Us is a hot candidate not because it has amazing graphics, but because it has a solid storyline for the generic post-apocalyptic genre. The game proves in a remarkable way that even a great thing may be even greater, and that a whole thing may be even more than just a sum of the individual components.- Games.cz
