I could give the game an 8 or even a 9, because it can be such a sheer joy to play and, after the patch the little gremlins that had me cursing the game and its developers six ways to Sunday have been vanquished.

The good is very good, yet the not-so-good list is long and much detailed. What’s a gamer to do?

If the difficulty was lowered and Battle mode was more revised, Rayman Arena could have been a much greater game.

Nothing other than more of the same stuff that we've already seen and that is simply not enough.

The box art is new! Otherwise we're left with a console port minus multiplayer features or anything in the way of enhancements for a technically superior gaming platform.

The concept is great, the gameplay mechanics are basic (but present), and the overall style is there, just not implemented.

The combat is ruined entirely by sloppy controls and poor camera angles, and adventuring falls prey to lazy developers who opted for tedium instead of creative, intelligent puzzle design.

Tries to be the next "Aliens vs. Predator," but fails flat on its face in its attempt.

Stay away and buy yourself some crayons and a coloring book, you'll be entertained longer.
