If you're new to bullet hell shooters, I don't recommend that you start with Freedom Finger. It's a challenging game in a challenging genre. Anyone who enjoys a good shmup, though, would be remiss to miss the opportunity to play this game. You'll love that Freedom Finger isn't just another bullet hell clone and that it will really challenge your skills.

Overall, this game is my new favorite game by Supermassive Games. It’s just as long as Until Dawn and it has even more branching paths in its story. Definitely pick up this game if you’re fan of games like Until Dawn or Dark Pictures Anthology!

True to the Capcom business model, this sequel doesn't fly far from the first game. It's fun to kill thousands of undead, again, but it's very inspiring this time around.

Stunts & Effects adds a lot to the game, but does so without changing it in any fundamental ways. It is certainly recommendable to all fans of the original game, and is a virtual “must-have” for you The Movies filmmakers out there.

Kudos to the development team for speeding up the build times, including a plethora of new structures and edicts, and adding even more great tracks to the excellent soundtrack.

While the excessive combat and frustrating search system can make the game trying at times, overall it is not a bad title. If you enjoy Japanese-style console RPGS, this one is definitely worth a look.

Even with its barebones modes, this game is really good. It would be so ultimate with a better story mode a few more single player modes. If you’re a fan of Invincible, you owe it to yourself to check out Invincible VS. Fans of fighting games, especially Killer Instinct (2013) and Marvel VS Capcom need to give this game a try. It borrows a lot from other fighters as well, so really just about any type of fighting game fan will find enjoyment in it.

If you enjoy a good story in your games, In Other Waters will deliver that to you, but you'll need to be patient with its slow-pacing and the fact that you'll be spending so much time looking at little icons and lining them up with other icons and lines. It's not that far off from a walking simulator, but the interesting visuals of those types of games will only come from your mind's eye. In Other Waters is a niche game, and by now you should know whether or not you fit in that niche. If you're intrigued, by all means give the game a try, you won't be disappointed by the story that it delivers. If it all seems like a lot of effort to slowly read a book on your Switch, though, you're best off spending your time in other games.

An interesting stab in a new direction that has its definite flaws, but is still worth the time - if you're willing to give it.
