They have added some new features, updated the engine and generally given us a good new reason to spend a little of our hard-earned money.

As a fast-paced and intense gameplay title, it is appealing to those who have no idea what Star Trek Voyager is.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game to all people in search of a good flight sim -- or just a chance to be a daredevil pilot.

While the game is still a good one, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to someone who was looking for a good RTS.

Gameplay is simply sub par, looking even worse when compared to the mammoths of the genre, much like my use of the word "mammoth" to describe racing titles.

The music and graphics will blow you away, and the game is pretty fun as well.

Monotony should be avoided in future RTS games, and was only slightly avoided in this game with the addition of almost three axes to play on with the depths, and with the concepts it introduced, but there's still a long way to go before it becomes a blockbuster.

If the gameplay could have been executed better, it would have been a great game, as it had some really cool atmosphere and monsters.

A must-have expansion for any serious monument builder, with the added attraction of being able to skip those frustrating levels for anyone having difficulty completing the original game.

A BIG game. After several weeks of playing I'm still only in the second chapter of a total of five.

"Dark Reign 2" gave me everything I was expecting: solid gameplay, great graphics, and a fun way to kill several hours.

I enjoyed the game immensely, and would recommend it to anyone seeking a good, wholesome CRPG experience.

This is the kind of game hard-core gamers dream of.

One of the best space flight sims out there, with a believable interface for commanding a large capital ship.

One of the best games I've ever played. Can't get enough of it.

The addition of the 3D camera and terrain gives it an edge over other titles in the area.

A fun third-person shooter with some uneven gameplay issues.

The loadout screen is also a pleasant surprise. The pseudo-holographic rotating representation of you chosen ship gives you a good idea of how the hard points fill out.

The graphics look sharper, the creatures look and move more realistically, the items are impressive, and the quests seem to be a little deeper.

The ultimate test of any game is how much you want to play it after you stop and quite frankly I found myself wanting to play "FreeSpace 2" or "Starlancer" while I was playing Allegiance. I didn't really like it, but it is a good game, it's just not for everybody.

It has provided me with in excess of 60 hours of pure addictive gameplay, and has earned a permanent spot on my shelf, sharing space with the likes of "Kings Quest 1" and "Doom."

Luring the entire neighbourhood into my house then sealing the doors and removing the food and toilet is just one of the many indignities I have visited to those under my care.

A new generation, looking a lot prettier, playing a lot smoother, and sounding a lot better, but with very little innovation.

That's one of the beauties of a game like AC: there really isn't an end game, or a finale. The world just keeps going and going, with new adventures and new locations to explore constantly available.

I really haven't had a game get me so fired up in a while, and this one seems to be one that I couldn't go wrong with. If you were a fan of the original AoE, then you're probably going to love this sequel.

An exceptional game, and promises to only get better from here. With only a few small repairs, this game could be the greatest to date.
