The bottom line is this: Tomb Raider Anniversary is a great game. It's perfect for any Tomb Raider fans or just fans of the action/adventure genre alone.

The first Halo's roots shined through on the first port of the series, and once again the controls are tight and exemplary for use in PC or console style controls.

Simply put, Forza 2 is much more than just another racing simulation on the console; it’s the closest thing to the realization of a racing fan’s dream game that we have ever seen.

If you don't mind spending full price on a game you'll have to subscribe to Xbox Live to get full enjoyment from, and if you don't mind a game with repetitive and limited gameplay modes and weapons, then there's nothing stopping you from getting Shadowrun, as the game is fantastic.

The action is fast paced, and the level of complexity it will take to become one of the best is astounding. If you're like me, however, you just can't justify a game costing that much money and offering so little in return.

Mario Party 8 is probably the series' biggest step backwards in its lifetime, and after eight years of consistency from the franchise, this addition falls way too short to recommend a purchase.

It's a good basic RPG that isn't too deep, but still has an entertaining edge. If you don't like games like Animal Crossing, you probably should avoid this title. RPG fans will be more forgiving of its faults.

The characters and scenery look absolutely gorgeous, and the speaking is surprisingly good. Sadly, the developers seem to have aimed at the younger crowd and the non-gaming crowd, as there's really no challenge other than overcompensating for the occasionally stupid AI.

This is what happens when an international game goes wrong. This game managed to get just about everything wrong about an RPG. Get the movies or books instead for the thrill.

For hardcore baseball fans, this is possibly the perfect baseball game. For the more casual crowd, though, you may want to try the cheaper PS2 version.

A rather mediocre and bland third-person shooter. Other than the visuals, everything else is pretty so-so.

A shiny port of a PC game marred by balance issues and a control scheme that is fun to use in the smaller battles, but becomes an obstacle in the larger ones.

The thing Spider-Man 3 does right is exploring the city and web-swinging. It captures the feel perfectly, and really is a blast to swing around Manhattan as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Unfortunately, everything else is a mixed bag, and often the worst parts rise to the surface of the game.

This game will have a very narrow appeal to kids and casual gamers. For all others, it's probably better to stay away from this.

Easily the best Spider-Man 3 title of the year. If you own a DS and love action games, pick this up. The fighting system is going to be copied in the future, I guarantee it.

While this episode provided some pretty good puzzles, the ending and complete wrap-up of the entire series is slightly under whelming. Mostly everything is wrapped up, but it just seemed something was slightly missing from the overall presentation.

Gamers who want a real challenge in a strategy RPG will find it here. That's good. But part of the challenge is fighting the game itself in order to understand the play mechanics. That's not so good.

Eureka 7 Vol. 2: The New Vision suffers from a plethora of problems, ranging from bad combat, to a corny story, to a bunch of un-fixed bugs. As an interactive anime, however, you're getting ~5 hours or so of new video about the Eureka 7 universe.

It's a racing game that has a lot of good going for it until you get into the driving mechanics of drifting your car. This part of the title may totally give you hissy fits. Try before you buy.

A creepy independent title that succeeds in its focus on refining established gameplay elements rather than defining its own.
