I'd like to say that MX vs. ATV Alive is a game for motocross purists, but I feel even that is a stretch. It's just not a very good game, even at the budget price.

The pets element offers a little spark of nuance in an otherwise dated formula. And the spry animations of the pups and kittens do well to make the game all the more endearing.

It's not Monster Hunter, but it's desperately trying to be. If you like RPGs will little story, even less of a battle system and an endless amount of missions, this one's for you.

While it can be briefly enjoyable and provide a few giggles and chuckles, it quickly becomes repetitive and boring. Co-op helps, but in the end, poor controls and lack of genuinely entertaining qualities will drive most players away.

While the concept of playing such a game with a real guitar is enticing, Power Gig seems content to leave it at that, without ever pushing the envelope or advancing the genre in any way other than the arguably gimmicky hardware.

This is one of the worst football games I've ever played. If you crave arcade action football, go pick up one of the original NFL Street games.

It's as if Silicon Knights threw together a boring action brawler and slapped the X-Men name on it to sell more copies.

The premise and humor provide some enjoyment, but there's no getting over the glaring mechanical missteps featured in this mediocre beat-'em up game.

It's surprising that Stardock would release Elemental in the condition it's in. The game is unfinished in every aspect; missing features that are standard in current 4X games and in video games in general.

As it stands, this is something most gamers will refuse to play until several updates and fixes are made. The sad part? This game is strangely addicting at times. Imagine what could have been.

Bloodrayne: Betrayal is a frustrating mess of a game that shows a lot of promise in parts, but never actually delivers.

There's something redeeming about the LEGO humor that can help us older Harry Potter fans smile through some of the pain, but it certainly is no remedy for all this game's woes.

Red Faction: Battlegrounds isn't terrible, but it's hard to understand why this is a Red Faction game at all. What you're left with is a mediocre dual-stick shooter that is severely lacking in content and becomes repetitive quickly.

The most disappointing aspect of Tekken Hybrid isn't the bare-bones update of Tekken Tag Tournment or the dreadful CG film included in the release. It's the fact that it feels like a squandered opportunity for something bigger.

Everything about this game ranges from meh to ugh; the gameplay, the visuals, the physics, the audio, and even the controls. If you're a diehard fan, then get it. Otherwise, please skip it.

Splatterhouse really is a despicable game, but there are players out there who will adore the chain-wallet-wearing protagonist and his super-violent escapades. The hope may have been for a decent God of War knockoff, but in reality it's just not so.

I wanted to like this game--I just couldn't. Whether it's the fault of the changes from the Japanese to American version or the minigames themselves, something just never clicks.

These types of games are often focused on a lonely construct. Fate of the World's zoomed out view only amplifies it.

Had Namco Bandai polished the controls in Go Vacation and slapped a $29 price tag on the box, I'd recommend a used copy. Unfortunately, the game is not something worth playing.

My take-home message is this: do NOT buy this game if you aren't a big fan of the show. There is absolutely nothing here for you. If you do enjoy the show, still do NOT buy it. Rent it for the few hours it takes to experience the game and watch the included episodes, then don't think about it ever again.

: It has some redeemable qualities, but it's too repetitive and boring to offer any kind of real action experience.
