NBA Live 08 is in serious contention for Best Basketball Game this year. That just shows you how much improved 08 is after the disaster of 07. Who says EA doesn't listen?- GamerNode

If you ever wanted to play the Sims but never had the PC to do so, your time has come. The Sims 3 on consoles is a direct port, and a faithful one at that.- GamerNode

Dark Souls is one of the best action-RPGs this generation, as it pulls of the combination of both elements perfectly. It may only be suited for hardcore gamers, but they are given heaven.- GamerNode

A great game at its core, marred by a bevy of minor and major annoyances. A lot of potential, but to truly work this game has to be refocused and partially reworked from the ground up.- GamerNode

Golden Sun is great franchise, and Dark Dawn can comfortably stand next to its excellent prequels. The world set in place here is intersting and fun to explore.- GamerNode

While not the pinnacle of gaming itself, Red Steel 2 proves that developers listen to their fans, restarting the Red Steel brand in a way that is both effective and fun. I always like pleasant surprises, and Red Steel 2 certainly fits that bill.- GamerNode

The Signal features more "best" than "worst," and is absolutely a must-play for anyone who's completed the initial release, as it extends, clarifies, and complicates the game's narrative -- just what Wake fans are looking for.- GamerNode

Space Marine asks players to become single-minded servants to the call of combat in a variety of brutal forms, each equivalent in intensity, efficiency, and ardor. A satisfying, cathartic release, though with minimal cerebral stimulation.- GamerNode

Afro should at least be commended for precisely translating the show's feel to a game, especially considering all the poor adaptations out there bearing little in common with their original properties.- GamerNode

Increased accessibility to increase sales seems to be the mantra of most developers and publishers in the industry and its nice to play a finely-tuned game that is developed with a core audience in mind.- GamerNode

Features a depth not often found in MMOs. While its steep learning curve may turn off a few early on, eventually things fall into place. Once you figure things out shaping the world is highly engaging.- GamerNode

In conclusion, if you're looking for a great online shooter, well you're just not going to get that here. If you're looking for a little bit of a change in a WWII genre campaign, you may want to check out what Call of Duty 2: Big Red One has to offer.- GamerNode

This game hits the mark in being a fun fighter. For once, the Wii controls weren't an after thought -- they actually help the game instead of hindering it. Good choice for anyone who wants a good fighter or fun game on the Wii.- GamerNode
