F1 2011 offers an very solid racing model, spectacular weather effects and is overall a highly authentic Formula One-game. A certain lack of polish in some areas prevents it from becoming a true classic, though don't let that stop you.- Gamer.no

Football manager never fails to deliver, and this year's edition, though not revolutionary, has some neat changes that improve upon an already fantastic game. Ready yourself for another holiday season in front of the computer, because this game will pick you up and never let you go.- Gamer.no

This unconventional real-time strategy game has both great strengths and clear weaknesses. It offers unique opportunities for intrigue during peacetime, but unimaginative and simplistic combat during wartime. Its long campaign is a true treat for fans of the TV series and books, and contains many hours of great strategy.- Gamer.no

If you're not tired of zombies yet you will be by the time you've survived this game. It provides its cheap thrills, and building traps is fun at times, but the ridiculously slow speed and the boring weapon selection suck this dead corpse dry before you've even started.- Gamer.no

In all it's familiarity the Diabloesque gameplay sucks you in, but it is the beautiful word, the brilliant music, and the genius voice over that keeps you going. Bastion might be a game, but it's much more a fascinating fairy tale told in real time.- Gamer.no

Most twin stick shooters are good fun for a while, and this is no exception. Cutting down orks with constant streams of bullets is definitely entertaining, especially with a friend. It provides terribly little variation though, and you won't be sad when it's over.- Gamer.no

If this can even be called a game, it's a highly unusual one. Instead of doing missions and killing enemies you construct landscapes and battle for control over the always unpredictable elements brought to life by impressive physics.- Gamer.no

The fusing of puzzles, Metroidvania and a the film noir aesthics create a very alien, yet familiar world to travel in. It becomes a bit boring in places, but overall the journey is a fascinating one.- Gamer.no

This mostly hilarious game fuses tactics with intense action and presents a solid challenge for any would-be orc slayer. The constantly growing repertoire of new traps and weapons provides endless amounts of bloody fun.- Gamer.no

ICO and Shadow of the Colossus stands out from the crowd, offering a deep and engaging story that keeps you going until the end credits. Not as groundbreaking in 2011 as when they first came out, but still with a unique and emotional gameplay. Pure quality - now in HD.- Gamer.no

Though this is a solid finale for an enjoyable trilogy of adventure games, it does feel a bit like playing through the final five hours of a good game that is exactly five hours too long. The freshness that the series initially offered is gone, replaced with predictability and a certain staleness.- Gamer.no

Might & Magic: Heroes VI is a turn-based strategy game that hails traditionalism and old design values. It is true to its predecessors, and fans won`t be disappointed despite the fact that it in many ways lacks evolution in gameplay and core mechanics.- Gamer.no

If you push yourself through this nightmare and its spiritual prequel, you will find that you enjoy modern games a lot more. Dark Souls lacks the open structure of Demon's Souls, but might be even more rewarding.- Gamer.no

Rage is a beautiful game set in a vivid and believable world. The old-school id-polish is present, and the weapons and items at your disposal make for a solid shooter. Sadly, the experience is somewhat thwarted by a severely crippled story arc, repetitive gameplay, and a lack of innovation and lasting multiplayer.- Gamer.no

Forza 4 gives us the most complete experience of all the Forza games. The physics are better, the multiplayer and career modes are improved and there are more cars and tracks than ever before. But there are few truly new features for the racing enthusiast. Where is the dynamic weather and night racing?- Gamer.no

If you strip the game's uninspired visuals and interface and manage to come past its bugs and glitches, Red Orchestra 2 takes no prisoners with its realistic mechanics and physics. It is a game for a hardcore PC audience who thrive on this type of games with its relatively slow-paced tempo yet high intensity.- Gamer.no

Rise of Nightmares is the first proper core game for Kinect. What the game lacks in the story- and graphics-department, it more than compansates for with innovative and intuitive gameplay. This bodes well for Xbox 360s motion sensor.- Gamer.no

As a rather small and downloadable game, Renegade Ops excels in being a fast-paced, intensive and compelling analogue shooter. Its narrative and story components may not be much, but as a fast in-fast out action game with or without friends, it´s a blast.- Gamer.no

While the overall improvements aren't too severe, the new tackling and physics systems drastically change how the game is played. FIFA 12 feels like an entirely new game in many ways, the question is whether you're ready to try something new or not.- Gamer.no

With it's over the top package and lighthearted gameplay, this arcade/puzzler succeeds in implementing the Burnout feel we all know and love. Sadly, it's plagued by shallow, repetitive and all to random gameplay that even EA's ingenius Autolog feature fails to make rewarding. Despite all it's promise and potential, this is little but a failed Criterion-funded experiment.- Gamer.no

Resistance 3 steps up to become the best game in the series, featuring a number of exciting weapons and beautifully designed levels. The horror elements mixed with the toned down story of one mans mission to make the world a better place for his family is thrilling and very enjoyable.- Gamer.no

TrackMania is back, and just as fun as ever. The new environment will no doubt be a hit among both new and old players, though it does feel a bit disappointing to go from seven environments in TrackMania United Forever to just one (so far) in TrackMania 2.- Gamer.no

Madden NFL 12 is a two-edged sword. On one hand it offers new players, post-trade rosters and some new features. On the other hand it is essentially very similar to the Madden games released over the last years, but if you are a fan, you will probably not be disappointed.- Gamer.no

Hunted: The Demon's Forge suffers from an identity crisis. It can't quite figure out if it is a thirdperson shooter or a action RPG. The combat tendens towards being boring and the level design is less than inspirational. Some of the side quests are good, but that's just not enough for this game.- Gamer.no

Alice: Madness Returns is interesting, visually stunning and inviting. Some of the gameplay elements excites in its pure form, but combat does seem ridgid and sometimes random. It's close, but not quite the cigar for Mr. McGee.- Gamer.no

The third expansion to the Men of War universe suffers by being one of the most difficult realtime strategy games out there. Combine this with a rather high amount of bugs, and you got the recipe for the least entertaining and most frustrating game of the series.- Gamer.no
