If you like Streets of Rage, there’s a good chance you’ll like this. It doesn’t bring anything revolutionary to the table but Qubyte has done a fine job of capturing the essence of the classic beat-em-ups of the ‘90s, and although there’s a little bit of repetitiveness in it, this is a title that’s worth playing.

Scars Above is a game that will help you turn off for a few hours, without needing to be challenged by gameplay while being entertained by the visuals and storyline — if your eyes haven’t glazed over by then.

In short, Ride 2 is an experience that hardcore bike fans are going to get the most out of. The game is fun enough on its own merit without the impressive library of licenses and tracks, but for those not really into the sport I would imagine the barriers to entry are too high. Ride 2 manages to improve on last year’s release, but still struggles to shift itself above a niche racer for fans of the sport.

A fun kart racing game that offers four player local and online multiplayer with a huge cast of characters from the Nickelodeon catalogue of shows that you can use to build your dream racing team. It has you racing on tracks inspired by the cartoons and featuring the music you know.

Crime O’Clock offers a detailed, charming world with innovative hidden object gameplay, but excessive dialogue and repetitive mini-games will interrupt your point-and-click adventure too many times to count.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a bugged and flawed game, but it is capable of bringing huge amounts of fun.

Outcast – A New Beginning is a fun time and something fans of the first game may enjoy. It has some issues, but it's worth experiencing and protecting Adelpha from anyone who wishes to destroy it.

Although somewhat lacking on the horror front, PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water is a fun time with an interesting story and gorgeous graphics. The audio could use some improvement, but the pros far outweigh the cons.

All in all, Rebel Cops is a blast to play, and feels like a great modification to the This Is The Police formula. Everything feels right, the management is fun and challenging, the story is interesting enough, and there are no bugs or glitches that I have run into thus far.

It’s a well made game, the graphics are good, the flying is easy to get to grips with and the tutorial is exceptionally helpful if you just give it a chance. I highly recommend checking out Steam Workshop because that adds even more to an already jam-packed offering. Nice work, Jundroo. I may not have enjoyed it, but I have to give it a high score.

Lovely Planet 2: April Skies is – for lack of a better word – lovely. Everything about it is cute, simple and a nice change of pace from all the overly violent games I’ve been playing recently. It feels great to play and it can get challenging towards the end, but nothing that had me scratching my head or annoyed with difficulty. I loved pastel colours for the visual style and happy inducing music because it puts me in a relaxing place, and for that reason, it’s a game I may return to in the future.

I quite enjoyed the time I spent with Crysis Remastered. The game does hold up well to this day however the performance issues and the frustrating AI really hindered my enjoyment.

Sword of the Necromancer is an enjoyable game with a story that really makes you want to play more, though after playing through the same sections multiple times with a lot of the same enemies can get repetitive after a while, especially once you get to the end and realise you need to start over for the full ending.

A deeply layered story with the scares to match, The Long Reach brings back the basics of psychological-horror by keeping players both intrigued and nervous until the very end.

Featuring a stunning low-poly art style, a wonderfully well-integrated soundtrack, an ingeniously simple control scheme, an interesting transformation mechanic, and impressively designed temples, AER has a lot going for it. It’s unfortunate that the experience is as short as it is and there is no way to keep track of what’s been seen. A few more environmental puzzles and a simple journal would fix my only complaints about this exploration-heavy title.

A solid and fun little farming type sim, but one that has a few issues. Although it’s a bit rough around the edges, it’s still worth a look.

A fun little momentum shooter with a drab visual style that is perfect for quick bouts of play. The difficulty and repeat play design won’t be for everyone but if you are after a Luftrausers-esque title at a budget price you can’t go wrong.

The bloated and often confusing narrative might be a bit too much for those that aren’t already fans of the Fate series, but for those willing to brave the ridiculous amount of dialogue a satisfactory Musou game awaits them underneath.

Slave Zero X is an interesting-looking action beat ‘em up title with a few bugs and feels a bit repetitive, but if you just want to kill tonnes of enemies, you will enjoy this.

I really enjoyed this game, mainly because it is one of those games that excels in its wonderful simplicity, from the gameplay right through to its controls. The more you play the game and the further you progress, the more you get out of it. I found myself wanting to come back and play it again – which is surely the mark of a great title? In the case of TransOcean 2, it describes those sentiments perfectly.

ManaVoid Entertainment have created a game that combines two genres together surprisingly well, yet there are some areas that leave it wanting. In trying to be be the best of both worlds, the game doesn’t really manage to excel in either.

There’s definitely fun to be had in Lock’s Quest, it’s just unfortunately locked behind a wall of frustrating control issues.

Earth Atlantis takes the world its built and makes us appreciate it for every detail. Despite some gameplay issues, this title does the best it can to provide players with a memorable experience.

Zoeti is a unique twist on the traditional card battle game that feels more like battle poker. The music can get a bit repetitive along with the recycled character images but is still a fun time.

While I enjoy the characters and animation, BIOMORPH doesn’t bring many new elements to the metroidvania genre. If you’re looking for a new entry point, then BIOMORPH could be a great choice, but veterans may be left wanting more.

I can’t help but think TT Games rushed this one, as it had too many bugs to be truly incredible, but if they can patch those out it’s yet another fantastic LEGO game that you’re going to love.

The artwork at the beginning of each act is beautifully drawn. The music is also quite powerful and foreboding as it sets the mood for the game.

Shuten Order is a great-looking game with a compelling story that you can’t wait to finish. I couldn’t wait to solve the mystery behind my character’s death!
