It mixes strategy, platformer, shoot-em-up, puzzler and everything else to deliver to you, the gamer, possibly the best game ever created.- GameCube Europe

Few words can explain the sheer joy of playing it, because it's constantly throwing up new things to marvel at. And it just feels so affirming to play a game this confident, this well-crafted, this, well, fun.- GameCube Europe

If there is such a thing as a perfect game, then this is it.- GameCube Europe

There is no word to express how fantastic this game is. It combines outstanding graphics with loads of modes and characters, a good soundtrack, and brilliant, brilliant gameplay. Not only that, but the amount of stuff to unlock is unbelievably huge, and the game is also extremely addictive.- GameCube Europe

The animations are smooth, fast and fluid. And the backgrounds are filled with detail and colour to set the mood and tone for the level brilliantly.- GameCube Europe

Apart from a few, more or less insignificant, flaws this game shines or rather consumes all light and delivers an epic story and an experience that hasn't been seen yet on the GameCube and one that hasn't ever quite been realised on any other console.- GameCube Europe

Exactly what a sequel should be about: Genuine improvement over the original, emphasising what was liked, removing what wasn’t and gaining new ideas.- GameCube Europe

Orchestra-style music and finely tuned sound effects liven up the battlefield quite dramatically and are executed extremely well; I just simply love the music for the Pokemon Stadium stage.- GameCube Europe

The only problem in this game that will cause you some grief is the camera. It flies willy-nilly all over the screen on its own, and a lot of the time it goes to places you don't want it.- GameCube Europe

Besides a couple of camera issues every now and then and the game's short length I can't say a lot of bad things about this game. The gameplay is solid and easy to learn, the controls are intuitive, it has a wonderful atmosphere.- GameCube Europe

It is very well made, challenging, long and so amazingly atmospheric. Sadly, there is a small voice at the back of my head, when ever I see or hear something lifted from Prime, nagging at me, asking why Retro couldn't have just put a tiny bit more effort in and given us a completely new game.- GameCube Europe

If you're a fan of Resident Evil then playing this game will be like a dream for you. This is how Capcom must have wanted to do it the first time but couldn't due to limiting technology of the time they got the idea. I guess you could say RE came before it's timeā¦kind of like Leonardo de Vinci making plans for a helicopter.- GameCube Europe

This is a hard game, and it will take you a lot of time to complete if you hope to collect all the gold medals in the game and find all the tech upgrades.- GameCube Europe

Nintendo have taken the strategy genre into a whole new direction, and the result is an absolutely stunning experience that will make you sad to see it end.- GameCube Europe

Its length is a slightly worrying factor but it’s not that bad, after all its quality not quantity and this game is quality in leaps and bounds.- GameCube Europe

The arsenal of moves has expanded substantially, the most obvious of them is that you can run around, climb rooftops and controlling vehicles. The latter is poorly executed and is hardly fun, because the cars physics aren’t exactly convincing.- GameCube Europe

The stick is a more intuitive type of control system, which can only benefit to the flow of the game. It improves the possibilities of your character considerably.- GameCube Europe

A whole new level in FPS gaming and I think everyone should get it. It is better than both "Goldeneye" and "Perfect Dark," and even better than "Halo."- GameCube Europe

Hugely entertaining while it lasts, but lacks ambition when you want it most. You get the feeling sometimes they're saving the really good stuff for the sequel, just teasing us for the time being with a game that feels a lot like a trailer for its successor. But a damn good trailer, mind you.- GameCube Europe

The game starts rather slow (like most RPGs) and there are a few fetch quests that feel like they're just there to make the game longer, but overall this has to be one of the best, if not the best RPG on the Cube.- GameCube Europe

If you've already played a Mario Kart game, Double Dash is still worth days of your time. However, it might lose its appeal sooner than other versions did, because for ninety percent it's just more of the same.- GameCube Europe

Perhaps the deepest and most immersive game I have ever played. The community aspect is on a par with any MMORPG you care to mention, which is a hell of an achievement for an offline console game.- GameCube Europe
