This game retains all the core fun and challenge of the original as well as keeping the charming visual style intact, and with unparalleled freedom to create and customize your own game sessions and rules, there is no end in sight for the addictive gameplay you will experience with Bomberman Live.

At a measly 4-5 hours of gameplay it's just not long enough to please twin-stick shooter fans, and coupled with the poor choice in camera angles and lack of detail on the enemy soldiers I'd have to recommend Voltron: Defender of the Universe only at a discount for someone not familiar with the Voltron series. But honestly, this game is targetings fans of the show, and fans are going to love it. plus it's all we have and all we are probably going to get for a long time.

Sure, the levels and even the gameplay get a bit repetitive at times, but there is always great action and the potential to share that action with your friends, and that is what really make this game rise above its predecessors and a total joy to play.

Overall, the Sims 3 World Adventures sets an excellent standard for future expansions, introducing a fun and rewarding mode of play to the base game that, while markedly different from the core gameplay, still remains true to the spirit of The Sims series.

There is no denying that EA has made good on the Godfather license and created an inspired game that should give the boys at Rockstar a few good ideas for their next GTA.

Definitely an experience that is best shared, but even if you do find yourself playing alone, you will be able to immerse yourself into a surprisingly deep story and wonderful fantasy world of Asian-influenced culture that is loaded with non-stop and brutal action.

The controls are much more manageable as they should be for PSP designed controls.

While Dragon Blade is not like God of War it does have some similarities, at least in the entertainment areas.

Adding the nuclear arms race and using more modern forces adds to the fun of this well made RTS.

Playing this with a friend or single player can be a blast, but remember to play with the right kind of gamers.

I had fun and laughed my ass off playing this game from start to finish.

Whether you are on land, sea, or the white sands of Davy Jones Locker, there isn’t a more swashbuckling time to be had and Jack Sparrow is the quintessential pirate hero.

This is a totally original title with all of the polish and exciting gameplay we’ve come to expect from the Call of Duty name. It’s just a shame that the control scheme wasn’t a bit more refined.

As for the heads up matchup with the 2K Sports series, NBA Live sinks the buzzer beater as time expires to steal the win this season. Live’s play mechanics and in-depth gameplay features surpass the competition in the heated battle for hoops supremacy in ’09. Without much debate Live ‘09 delivers the best all around NBA game this year.

I flat out love this game. The XBLA version of Ticket to Ride is faithful to the original. It’s actually better.

2006 FIFA World Cup manages to capture all of that magic and recreate the pageantry of the World Cup better than any World Cup game before it.

I'm glad to see that EA isn't taking their NFL exclusivity as a free ride to crank out mediocre sequels without fear of competition, and I really can't wait to see what they can do with the Madden franchise in 2007.

While Asphalt: Urban GT slightly edges out Ridge Racer DS in visuals and variety of gameplay, Ridge Racer DS comes with an undeniable legacy and built-in audience from both PlayStation and N64 camps and continues to represent arcade racing in its purist form.

Tank Universal is a great throwback to VR, TRON, Battlezone, and just plain old-school gaming full of action and strategy.

After taking the tutorial and discovering the nuances of submission wins, I found myself addicted to the career mode.

As long as you have a spare battery or a power outlet handy Tiger Woods PGA Tour is still a fantastic game, and easily the most realistic simulation of the sport you can play on a handheld. It manages to capture and bring over just about every element from the console version and pack it into the palm of your hand.

Call of Duty 3 is easily the best in the series (or at least a tie with "COD2") but the PS3 conversion just doesn’t do it justice. If this is the only next-gen system you have then you should go ahead and play it, but if you own a 360 you’ll have a much better experience, both solo and online.

If you love those old 50's and 60's movies with aliens or giant insects then Earth Defense Force: Alien Armageddon has an endless supply of both, mixed with exciting gameplay, and even a bit of thoughtful strategy when it comes to choosing your class, customizing their weapons, and prioritizing your targets. Play it alone or play it with friends…just make sure you play it.

If NHL 2K8 were the only hockey game on the market, I would be fairly content with it. But it isn’t the only game. EA has superior gameplay and more teams. In the end it is about the gameplay and 2K lost the puck and the GCM editor’s choice award. I guess now I can be considered a bitter ex-NHL 2K fan.
