Flight Simulator X: Acceleration really is a must-buy for fans of the series. For $30 you get a great amount of content, and the improvements to FSX overall make it worth purchasing both Acceleration and the original game if you’ve still been cruising in FS2004.- Game Almighty

Hitman: Blood Money is an enjoyable sequel that doesn’t take too many risks in regards to changes to its now successful formula. So fans who were content with most of Agent 47s methods should be happy. For those neophytes out there considering some experience with murder-for-hire, you will find getting Blood Money to be very rewarding.- Game Almighty

NBA 2K8 is easily the best hoops game on the market this year, a tremendous leap over last year’s game, and one of the best sports games ever made. Bravo Visual Concepts.- Game Almighty

It may be too over-the-top for some, but if you’re a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, this will keep you securely fastened in the free-form third-person action genre… just don’t let the kids act this one out.- Game Almighty

The game's still not perfect, but the end result is a college football title with the depth to appease fans of the sport yet simple enough to attract newcomers. Hardcore fans might be disappointed with the presentation, which doesn't always feel like college football, but there's no denying that the gameplay has been tuned to perfection.- Game Almighty

In the end, you can't help but feel that Jade Empire lost its focus in the design phase. No one element really works, no one element really stands out.- Game Almighty

In short, Assassin’s Creed is two hours of a really good video game repeated ad nauseum for many more hours. It’s fun, but can get very boring.- Game Almighty

This game is one of those rare instances where the stars align and every element combines to create something fresh, original and great. Kudos to the entire crew at Triumph Studios...you've lived up to your name.- Game Almighty

If you enjoy mindless fun and playing games with friends, then Rockstar’s Table Tennis is the right game for you. If Rockstar continues to churn out sports titles, EA and 2K Sports may be ousted from their throne of sports games with gameplay.- Game Almighty

I'm helplessly addicted...Catan is a god send of a game, filling a void in Xbox Live's offerings that will hopefully lead to more strategic board games in the near future.- Game Almighty

The new Weapons system is a fun addition, and actually manages to make the game a bit friendlier to new players. The gameplay itself is solid, but the overall presentation is still lacking. Here’s hoping to a more robust online mode and a better use of the ESPN license in the 09 iteration.- Game Almighty

Someone asked me to describe Ace Combat 6 in a word, and my response was “shallow,” which probably wasn’t fair. Shallow seems to imply a lack of depth to a fault, which certainly isn’t the case with Ace Combat 6. Though you don’t have to worry about flaps settings, ILS approaches, or proper air-traffic control etiquette, Ace Combat 6 is by no means barebones. It’s a lean, mean, fighting machine.- Game Almighty

So it’s simple: if you’ve played every version of Tiger Woods, then there’s really no reason to pick up this latest one, especially given the amount of bugs and completely borked online play.- Game Almighty

If you already own FS2004 and have a moderate computer, my suggestion is to put the $70 towards some addons to extend the life of FS2004, and wait to see how the DirectX 10 patch fares.- Game Almighty

Silent Hunter features countless bugs you'll find on every machine, and this is unforgivable. It's a betrayal to a loyal fanbase and a detriment to gaining new fans. Unfortunately, it's also an exact replay of what happened two years ago when Silent Hunter III shipped. Deja'vu all over again, as Yogi Berra once said.- Game Almighty
