Everything about the game is better and the new features and additions are simply icing on an almost already perfect cake. Tons of new songs, three note chords, progressive scan images, pretty decent covers (in most cases), new multiplayer modes, practice modes, encores, awesome graphic cutscenes...Guitar Hero is always going to be a ten, but Guitar Hero II takes it to eleven.

While Rock Band 2 did not create or redefine the rhythm game genre, it is a very worthy addition to any game library.

Seriously, many games are good, but this game is near perfect in almost every way. I've gotten blisters and had my thumb start bleeding WHILE I PLAYED. That's a testament to how good this game really is. If you don't buy it, you will regret it for the rest of your LIFE. I mean that.

A brilliant Playstation 2 title that not only defines itself as being a definitive gaming experience, but also serves to exemplify how video games can also be representative of great works of art.

Ninja Gaiden epitomizes all that is beautiful in gaming, an experience that is at once difficult, though never in a cheap way, and artistically crafted.

Mass Effect has, for me, lived up to my expectations and in some ways exceeded them -- doing slowly what KOTOR did. Drawing me into its world and making me feel comfortable; a place where everything just seems right.

Another fantastic chapter in the Castlevania saga and warrants a purchase. Be warned, the game is not very long and only clocks in at about 10-15 hours. There are multiple endings which will keep you coming back for more, though!

The embodiment of pure kart racing goodness, an almost faultless paradigm that is undeniably the finest kart racing game created to date.

The controls are dead on, the visuals are simply dazzling, the music and sound is terrific and the game modes are plentiful and exciting.

Despite it's exceptional visuals, the cities themselves are devoid of any people other than your enemies. I guess you can chalk this up people actually listening to the PA announcement that advises people to stay indoors.

The presentation is charming, the writing is witty, the control is well implemented, and the game is simply a lot of fun.

Even though the game seems to lack much in the way of innovation, it makes up for it by giving players more of what they want… bigger levels, wicked weaponry and more badass enemies to slaughter. They’ve also tweaked the controls and upgraded the overall look of the game.

It's amazing mixture of finely tuned game mechanics, mind-blowing graphics, and stupendous soundtack will leave you nothing short of amazed. It's one of the best shooters ever made and it's LOADED with extras.

If you consider yourself a gamer, then drop the pretenses of the Wii being a kiddie machine, get off your HD loving ass and pick this up. Samus needs you, and I'm sure all you prepubescent young lads don't want to let her down now do you?

One of the few games that comes close to perfection. The gameplay is exciting and easy to learn, the graphics are phenomenal, the soundtrack is great, the extras are awesome… but the length of the game is painfully short and the skill level needed to get through it is minimal.

For all of the items in Minish Cap's "Pro" column, there is but one item in the "Con" column: it's just too darn easy. The dungeons, though fantastically designed, are fairly small and light on monsters.
