A universe of drifiting and cornering, accelerating and power-steering, peppy music and decent graphics that, while worth a visit from time to time via a rental ticket price, it's too unrewarding and punishing a formula for the hardest of the hardcore to plow the cash for.

It's unfortunate that a few things like a more intuitive training level and a lock-on button prevent "Ecco" from greatness.

It's an OK game, but I cannot help but feel that a Bleemcast-enhanced version of the PSX "Rival Schools" CD spinning on my Dreamcast would look different-enough for most gamers to notice.

It's not the greatest 2D fighter on Dreamcast, "Marvel vs Capcom 2" and "Alpha 3" hold that crown but by all means this is another great Capcom fighter.

Your mileage may vary, but this is one heck of an enjoyable game IF you're into competition more than racing, and into challenging one-player challenges than racing thrills.

As far as graphics and music go, "Bust a Move 4" looks and sounds the nicest of any previous games.

One of the stunning differences between Bass Fishing and Marine Fishing is the beauty of the locations and fish.

As a first time player of Resident Evil I found very little to dislike about the game, except for that I would like to have seen less puzzle and more action, and that's me being nitpicky.

One of the few Titus-published franchises on DC (or any system) that's actually worth playing on gameplay attributes alone.

While most will find this game's story to be a little weaker than that of the superb "Colony Wars," the online play and solid mechanics make it a definite game to check out for fans.

An incredible football experience that is derived from a killer engine that's proven its gameplay worth in gold.
    • 78 Metascore
    • 50 Critic Score
Plenty of depth if that's all you're looking for, but it's weighed down by an engine that would have been deemed outdated several years ago.

It's two-player mode still impresses, but the trump card of "No Exit" is the reckless abandon with which it embraces total vehicular manslaughter.

"Evil Dead: Hail to the King" and "The Ring: Terror's Realm" weren't anywhere near as fun and interesting as going through the predictable motions of a survival horror game that was designed FROM ITS INCEPTION to be replayable.
    • 76 Metascore
    • 60 Critic Score
Slightly higher-than-average entertainment on Dreamcast, but only as high as it has to be and not an inch higher in quality or creativity.

Never quite unique enough to make me separate the words 'Diablo' and 'clone' from the back of my mind throughout most of the length of my adventure.

It offers what other better-looking racers hint at, but have so far failed to deliver on Dreamcast: fast, playable and competitive head-to-head racing against four other players via online connectivity that seldom lags or gets disrupted.

Not much has changed from the prequel though, since "Rogue Spear's" gameplay is still a tougher-than-your-Grandma's-veracose-veins cookie to swallow.

Fun for all, and all for fun I say. A rental at least, and a reasonable buy for the family-friendly gamer with kids.

Regina is one tough chick (a poster girl for the fictitious 'EuroAsia' of videogame and anime lore), but doesn't have the 'deer caught in the headlight' charm of Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine.

If that sounds like your wettest 4WD dream come true, suit yourself. Me? Oh, I have "Smuggler's Run" for PS2, thank you very much. I'll pass.

Red Dog is the best tank shooter the Dreamcast has seen so far in its brief existence, and hopefully it won't be the last.

If it weren't for the extra $10 you have to pay for the privilege and the Sega/Dreamcast boot-up sequence, there's no way you would know that this is a DC game from looking at it on a TV screen without the PSX version nearby for comparison.

Too short and unpolished, but a hell of a way for Capcom to leave the genre on a high note in a dead system clamoring for more of them.

The guiltiest pleasure an individual sick-enough to be a member of the NRA can have locked inside a basement with a big screen TV and a stereo system cranking.

I can also recognize a niche quality product when I see and play one (even if I don't particularly like it), and Coaster Works is definitely a unique-enough title to be worth the attention of the few fanatics that will love every minute of the design process.
