    ModNation Racers is a fun-racer that actually makes fun at the beginning. The black humour and the great editor guarantee lots of amusement. But soon the enemy difficulty gets frustratingly high and the long-time motivation is missing due to weak multiplayer modes.

    Elika and the Persian prince are like Lady Di and Prince Charles – the love dies abruptly. About a year ago we criticized Ubisoft Montreal for a lack of diversity. Back then it was about Assassin’s Creed, but the criticism is all the same.

    The landscape is unbelievably beautiful, the battles are full of action. But why doesn’t the PvP ranking work? Where are quests for high-level character? Somewhere in Age of Conan rests the great World-of-Warcraft-killer. It’s time to wake up!

    Unfortunately Riddick hasn't evolved much in the years since Escape from Butcher Bay, while the genre definitely has. Five year old gameplay doesn't compete well with next gen games, though Riddick still copes well.

    Skate 3
    Skate 3 is an (almost) perfect skateboard simulation. It eliminates many failures of its predecessor such as the bad walking controls. The skating is easy to learn and the create-a-park editor extends the experience. Well done!

    Tomb Raider: Underworld
    Okay, the new Tomb Raider adventure is not really innovative. But Lara has never looked so good before. The gameplay is smooth and the puzzles are great. But the stupid motorcycle trips, the camera and the senseless gadgets are fun-killers.

    Red Steel 2
    Red Steel 2 is a nice Japanese western with great controls. The Wii Motion Plus feels like a real sword, who needs a story?
