The graphics are really chunky and the sound effects are, at best, unobtrusive. Still, you don't necessarily play a game like this for the graphics. You play it for the hyper-cheezy commentary from Retired Sheriff John Bunnell and the modest thrill of keeping the peace.- Core Magazine

It's certainly a competent and fun game, but its appeal doesn't have a terribly long shelf life.- Core Magazine

A few scattered mini-games and some creative segments help to break up the been-there, done-that monotony, but still don't manage to extend the game's lifespan more than a couple of hours.- Core Magazine

Some of the mini-games are pretty bad and the single player mode is still not worth trying, but on the whole this is a very enjoyable game.- Core Magazine

It's just plain awful. Even the most rabid of KISS fans would do well to avoid this piece of junk...Squeeze all you want; there's no possible way you could wring even a drop of enjoyment out of KISS Pinball.- Core Magazine

While essentially just a more difficult remix of "Metal Slug 2," Metal Slug X is still one of the finest 2D shoot-em-ups since the original "Contra."- Core Magazine

With new gameplay modes and new challenges, Dr. Mario 64 is a fresh and entertaining experience even to gamers who have spent countless hours playing its forerunners. It may be short on innovation, but it's a pleasing remake of a masterfully crafted formula.- Core Magazine

A mixed bag of game design that's too complex for casual gamers and far too irritating for hard core RPG fans.- Core Magazine

It may not be totally original-the blueprint for this game seems to have been lifted directly out of the "Resident Evil" file-but intuitive controls, outstanding graphics and a wonderfully unsettling soundtrack help this title rise to the top of the PS2 heap.- Core Magazine

Undoubtedly, Unreal Tournament gives you a much more complete package and is overall a better game (than "Quake Arena III").- Core Magazine

This game throws physics and realism out the window in favor of fun and excitement. The dated graphics won't thrill anyone, but the solid gameplay and online capabilities more than make up for these shortcomings.- Core Magazine
