The graphics for the game are simply stunning. Normally, Midway games have pretty average graphics, but the graphics in BlackSite are very crisp and detailed.

The fighting and the story are top notch. It's just the missions themselves that sort of take the fun away from the bulk of the game.

With the many events available to you, in both male and female types, along with the lengthy and challenging Competition mode, there will be plenty on offer here to keep you coming back to tackle your personal best.

My main gripe with Guitar Hero: World Tour is that it's too similar to Rock Band. The features are too minimal to be a major leap forward and the setlist, in comparison with Rock Band 2, is a lot poorer in my opinion. I guess it's all down to which setlist you prefer in the end.

The easy to pick-up control system, coupled with some enjoyable combat makes Assassin's Creed a good game despite the repetitive and sometimes laborious build up to each assassination.

The mechanics are easily learned and the difficulty curve set at a satisfying level. With episode one having a fair bit of gameplay on offer, it's a testament to the effortless playability that I'm left raring for more.

Just Cause 2 is essentially the video games equivalent of Die Hard. The story is not that interesting but, by God, the explosions and fun you'll have along the way are so worth it.

Time definitely has not been kind to Banjo Tooie, but it is still as fun as it ever was.

Project Origin is a fantastic FPS experience in it's own right. While there is no amazing innovation, the game works at a satisfying pace keeping you engaged throughout. Eeery atmosphere, fantastically grotesque surroundings and great enemy AI to boot, F.E.A.R 2 is a title well worth your attention.

At the very least it is worthy of a rental, if only to see how storytelling should be done in a game.

Unfortunately the game does itself damage by having very little depth and running out of new tracks long before you have even considered being satisfied.

NHL 2k9 is nothing to be shunned as there is certainly enjoyment to be had, however, EA managed to step their game above the competition this year around with NHL 09.

Overall, despite the poor AI in single player, lack of game modes in multiplayer, weak audio and poor graphics, We Love Golf! is more like We Like Golf! and is a major improvement on the golf game within Wii Sports.

It isn’t quite a Gran Turismo or Forza game yet, but give this a few years and like FIFA 10 in its genre, Need for Speed could become ‘the definitive’ racing game.

As a single player game, UFC Undisputed 2010 is not very good. It's too complicated, drawn out and at points, plain boring, but when taken online, the entertainment really begins.

I thoroughly enjoyed Legends Of WrestleMania. It's repetitive, yet oddly refreshing gameplay is nicely interspersed with great examples of the positive use of Quick Time Events, the videos preceding the fights in the Tour mode are authentic and add to the fan appreciation value of the game and the roster of great names allows for some hilarious multiplayer antics.

    MAG
MAG certainly tries to raise the bar over the competition, and in some senses it succeeds. Unfortunately it has numerous faults that simply shouldn’t be there considering the game is lacking a campaign mode, and should have an emphasis on refining online play to perfection.

Singularity is definitely not mindblowing. The story is very B-Movie like (although the multiple endings are pretty interesting), it borrows a lot from other games but there's just enough here, especially with the time manipulation, to set it apart.
