  1. It’s a choppy, frustrating affair, periodically bailed out by some very good actors.
  2. The stage version, the one recorded for posterity here, succeeds primarily as a performance showcase for Waller-Bridge. She’s a fabulous actor and a true stage animal, with a wonderfully expressive voice.
