All of the VR missions, Snake Tales, palette swapped characters and the Boss Battles make Substance a must have for ANY Xbox owner.

The SNES port looks great, it really comes to life on the GBA but the NES levels are embarrassing. This Frankenstein piece-together must have been getting the bum's rush out of the lab and into the stores in time for the Christmas cash grab.

Don't confuse this game with the console games however. Console games good; GBA game bad.

It's bright colorful landscapes and cute character, Zapper the Cricket, will appeal to those who still rifle through their underwear drawer looking for their Superman or Wonder Woman underoos.

With only room for four players and no Live play, the party aspect of this game is somewhat limited.

Playing this game is like walking into a real horror movie. It's well thought out and you never now exactly what is behind the next door.

You may begin to find yourself suffering from the Too-Much-Sameness disorder. Symptoms include boredom and the unwillingness to complete the game.

Perhaps if they would have included the original game and just enhanced the graphics, this would have helped the game and added to what it was missing.
