The characters look alright, but I honestly think they could've done better.

The control system is responsive and accurate. The graphics still illustrate some spine chilling scenes and disturbing animation of the undead characters. This game is almost guaranteed to give you nightmares.

The blockbuster production values make this one of the best comic book to videogame adaptations ever made. The control is equally as impressive which may not be apparent initially as I mentioned. The only things holding this game back from absolute greatness are basically the same flaws that held SM2 back from greatness: repetitive random missions, relentless chase missions, relatively short story mode and the lack of imagination in terms of game structure.

The repetitive nature of the gameplay and the easy control system puts this firmly in the classification of an arcade game. I expect something a little deeper for the home system.

Certainly the GBA version pales in comparison to the freedom of the console versions and the graphic chutzpah of USM on the DS, but it's still an enjoyable title that will pass the time.

The challenges are a lot of fun and the difficulty is dangled in front of you like a carrot on a stick, it's never forced down your throat making you feel like an inept loser.

Another mediocre game in a mediocre series, but is worth the time if you are an ardent, and I mean ardent, fan of RPGs and quite possibly that guy who plays DM during your friend’s Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

A weak in the knees one button beat-em-up that has absolutely no teeth. The fighting engine is so watered down that only geeking Marvel fanboys will elicit any enjoyment out of spending any time with it.

There is a delicateness in the story that is inextricably linked to the violent savagery of the gameplay. It's both sweet and sour or yin and yang. It's Japanese - go figure.

Promising at least 20 hours plus gameplay (not including the multiplayer facets) is nothing to sneeze at. X-Men Legends 2 isn't miles away from the original which will please fans of the first game undoubtedly.

I don't want to ruin things for you but just let me say that I was expecting a better conclusion to wrap up such a memorable series. But as with most puzzle-oriented game it's the journey and not the destination that makes it all worthwhile. And it's been one hell of a good ride.

It's not a long game and the mutliplayer aspects won't elongate your enjoyment of the title by any stretch. At the end of the day it's just more Spider-Man and maybe that's enough for you.

I would heartily recommend this game to anyone but I hesitate to recommend a purchase because it's not huge on replay value unless you're into the whole "high score" competition thing. But definitely go out of your way to rent it.
