It is a game for all gamers both young and old. Anyone who appreciates the simple joy of a well-crafted arcade game will find this title a delight to play.

Costume Quest works better when the emphasis is on action. The "collect all candy to unlock next world" variation may get a little tired by the end of the game, but it's a lot of fun to collect new costumes (and discover their abilities).

The gameplay took a hit since the last installment, but the storytelling is still superb.

Serious Sam II is a handful. It may be more action than you bargained for. If you're not interested in the online mode then rent it first but be warned you may not finish it in one weekend.

It's what I call an "equal sequel" which means the sequel is nearly identical to the original in every respect. I've already played the original so why do I want to play it over again?

Flaws aside, Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland is a good, solid JRPG that works phenomenally in the portable format. It’s easy to pick up and put down, even though you’ll eventually spend hours of your life on it. Its mission-based format is perfect for long trips on a plane or short trips on the bus. It has a better sense of pacing, more content, and free DLC.

Greatly expanded dual campaigns mix well with robust multiplayer modes.

In Destroy all Humans 2 we see a franchise that has hit its stride and is spewing potential like a drunk on a Tilt-a-Whirl.

This is a well-polished ten-hour campaign, but it loses all of the things that made Guerrilla special in favor of a generic action experience. Also, there's no competitive multiplayer.

The best game ever to have the word "Pokemon" in the title - that, and the fact that it really doesn't have anything to do with the traditional Pokemon games.

There’s so much gameplay packed onto this disk, I feel like EA could skip next year’s Tiger Woods release and very few fans would notice.

Paying tribute to our brave men and women in uniform-who often go through situations that are unimaginable to all of us sitting at home with controllers in our hands-is a great thing. The step that EA has taken towards establishing a precedent for exploring topical subject matter in a video game may be a small one, but it's still important. But almost everything else about Medal of Honor, while enjoyable, makes it hard to shake the feeling of playing just another military shooter.

It's non-violent fun for the entire family. But it's challenging enough to frustrate even the most ardent of hardcore shooting fans, especially in the online tournament modes where you can compete with some of the best in the world.

Patapon 3 is here, but it's lost something since the second game. There's a missing sense of personality, which was a huge part of the appeal of Patapon 1 and 2. The core game is still great, and there's plenty of good material, but the first two games are undeniably better.

Shadowgrounds is a fun game in the old-school, third-person shooter tradition. It's not innovative by any means but if you're looking for a shooter that's not totally mindless then you might want to give this one a shot. Pun intended.

If you're up for a challange and don't mind taking on the entire Roman empire yourself, Spartan: Total Warrior is waiting.

Sure, it's not a big deviation from the Clash of Ninja franchise formula, but I can appreciate it for what it's worth: a good time.

The game is carried by its darkly charming presentation, a refreshing story, and entertaining characters. While it’s not quite the cream of the crop, it should easily find its way to the top of the wish-list for many adventure game addicts.

There's nothing new or innovative to the genre here, but there is a lot to enjoy. The half-broken online play needs to be addressed before the series goes forward.

The lack of multiplayer will hurt it with some people, but the sheer number of upgrades and collectables should keep gamers coming back for awhile. Besides that, it's a whole lot of fun.

A great selection of minigames, with awards, leaderboards, and decent multiplayer. A couple more online offerings would have given it a perfect score.

A breath of fresh air filled to the brim with colorful characters and corny situations. In fact, you could think of Radiata Stories as the sitcom of role playing games. It's not quite as deep, but it's entertaining in small doses.

The story is the main reason to play this title, as the overly complex rules system makes battles a bit too cumbersome for any real replay value.

The slick presentation and intensely fun co-op play has made a believer out of me even though gameplay can feel sloppy at times. If you love shooters and are looking to play an interesting campaign mode with a friend, then Army of Two is a must-buy.

It's a combination of role playing and real time strategy that goes together like chocolate and peanut butter. In other words, it not only works, but it tastes great too.

If you have played the Xbox 360 version, then the International version probably won't be worth your while. If you haven't played the previous release, the extra features on the International version make it superior.

I wouldn't recommend this game to people who become angry easily or want to get things done fast. Patience is a definite virtue in this series, and if you're not made for that, well… Kororinpa is not for you.
