Tony Hawk: Ride is not the broken junk heap some critics would have you believe. However, it is far from the revolutionary title Tony Hawk and Activision were counting on. In fact, it is actually a less enjoyable outing than lackluster games in the series such as Project 8 and American Wasteland. Still, if you're a skater, have the patience of a saint, or are a glutton for punishment (and frustration), there is a novel, skate-sim experience that can be uncovered.

To be honest it's not even as good a game as "Super Mario 3," which is a big disappointment since the game has been in production for more than four years...Overall the game is much too simple. The average gamer could blast through this in a day.

While it may not be fair to say that if you've played one fighting game, you've played them all, I could probably say with certainty that if you've played more than a few fighting games you've played better ones than KOF 2000/2001.

With such a dynamic premise, there is no reason this game couldn't have outshone the movie.

This one just doesn't have enough going for it to be legitimately called an "Ultimate Ninja." Maybe next time, Naruto fans.

This game will only be done correctly on the next gen machines. No load times. Communication via headset. Expanded gameplay not limited by 5 year old technology. That's the way it should be.

Fans of the show might find something to like about Zoids but gamers that know their mechs will be stunned at how restrictive and faulty this game is.

The collision detection system is much too sensitive for a game of this nature where you often have to squeeze between openings that leave you only a few pixels to squeeze by.

It's slightly tweaked and certainly a good game but so were the previous ones. Unless this is your first Madden football game then don't bother.

I've scored it low in the Overall category simply because it's a relatively short game and some of the cutscenes aren't all that great. Not to mention that the premise is anything but innovative.

It still has a long way to go to be regarded as a great wrestling game.

It can definitely be appealing but imprecise controls, lack of missions and mission variety, and extremely short length (only three levels) detract from the game's otherwise enjoyable experience.

I wish we could award some points for originality but although the concept may be unique, the gameplay is anything but.

This game feels like a preliminary build rather than a finished game, and it's unenjoyable as a result.

Tryst could be described as a poor man's StarCraft, but in this case I'd advise the poor man to save up and simply play StarCraft. This game is generally derivative and far too rough around the edges to bother with for long, with its good ideas buried under presentation and usability problems.

About the only way you'll get something out of this game is if you use it as a tutorial to learn how to play the real thing. Then get a copy of the real board game or download a free version from the internet and play via email with your friends or coworkers.

The problems are pronounced and obvious, but somehow it has a charm and appeal that defies logic. This game is not for everyone. In fact, it won't be for most people. But, at an amazing value of twenty dollars, it may be a worthy investment for those that are bored of their current slate of games and are ready to put up with the numerous frustrations to experience the inane charm that Deadly Premonition offers, but don't say I didn't warn you.

It's got flaws but more than that it's just not very good. Had this game come along five years ago things might be different but as it is this is just a convoluted arcade-style ball game using soccer as a backdrop.

To get the most out of Freestyle Street Soccer you should play it with four players. It's not a very good single-player soccer game as far as the mechanics are concerned.
