Panic Button studios did it again. First with DOOM's port and now with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on the Switch, they have managed to deliver and incredible experience for a memorable FPS into the portable console. A must-play on the Nintendo's platform.- Atomix

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is a great game. Firaxis’ work is presented as an extremely complex experience, and from a distance, it can be boring for more than one person. However, once you pay attention to it, you discover something addictive that gives you a shot of dopamine with each new concept you manage to understand. The title allows you to create your own story, and the way in which each civilization advances reacts in real time to your decisions. The way in which a society evolves is natural, and it gives you enough space to work like a book, or go crazy and present scenarios that are the dream of more than one.- Atomix

More than a Monster Hunter clone, Wild Hearts managed to be a worthy competitor to the Capcom series, thanks to its original ideas and handling of well-known concepts. Omega Force has delivered a new series that could well become a mainstay for the Japanese studio.- Atomix

With light improvements on its gameplay mechanics EA Sports UFC 2 is more fun and accessible than its predecessor. With a lot of content, game modes and great presentation, it’s a game that will be enjoyed by the UFC fans and combat game lovers as well.- Atomix

The gameplay is phenomenal and is able to captivate the player from the first moment. While naval combat is not something that stands out, the tactical turn-based RPG combat in a 2D environment is very well implemented. The job system offers a great level of customization that allows each player to approach the various challenges in the way that they like best, and each robot has the necessary skills to always be part of your main team. I can't wait to see what's next for Thunderful and SteamWorld, but if the developers continue with this high level of quality, then I'm sure that this team will continue to be one of the best in the indie scene.- Atomix

If you're a die-hard fan of this franchise and have played the other titles in the Digimon Story series, you definitely shouldn't miss this one. And if this is your first time with the brand, but you love the genre, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to check it out. In fact, there's a demo available to clear up any doubts.- Atomix

Crimson Desert tries to offer something for everyone. While it presents itself as an open-world game, the reality is that there's much more to it. Although the foundations are solid, Pearl Abyss doesn't stop there, adding multiple superfluous systems and mechanics that only cause the game to constantly stumble. While there are some quality elements, everything surrounding the good ideas is marred by a terrible interface, unresponsive controls, and a structure that lacks a clear direction. Like a buffet, Crimson Desert throws too much at us, but each bite is, in most cases, a disappointment.- Atomix

Final Fantasy XVI is a fantastic game from start to finish, which manages to combine the classic structure of the series with a combat system focused on action and customization. The Rising Tide is the perfect complement to this experience, and although this marks the end of this chapter in the history of one of my favorite video game series, I can't wait to see how Square Enix takes everything that worked here and expands these concepts in Final Fantasy XVII, or in a sequel to Clive and Joshua's adventure.- Atomix

The gameplay is addictive and offers us enough space to experiment. It may be the simplest and simplest Warriors of the entire genre, but it is accessible and will be liked by many people. Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have managed to create a great game to say goodbye to 2020.- Atomix

Although it does not end up being as robust an experience as other games of the genre (Planet Coaster, Surviving Mars), Jurassic World Evolution 2 still is a complete game, which solved the weaknesses of its predecessor and wanted to respond to users that are not-so-enthusiastic about the Tycoon resulting in a title that is not complex and quite friendly for the players.- Atomix

Thanks to its intricate and well-crafted level design, intelligent implementation of new mechanics, great pacing, an interesting story that significantly expands the series' lore, spectacular technical department, and of course, great respect for what this series has always been, we can tell you that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is that long-awaited return we've been waiting for. Of course, there are the NPCs that are completely unnecessary and that, in reality, we would have liked them to take more risks, but at the end of the day, Retro Studios knew how to save this project that we're sure, on more than one occasion, was on the verge of disappearing. Switch 2 closes its first semester of life with a gold standard.- Atomix
