Worm Run looks promising on the surface, but the deeper you dive, the more unwanted aspects you discover. While there are some nice elements, there are too many problems to recommend Worm Run, making it one you can skip.

Contra: Evolution is based on the classic, but the “Evolution” enhancements aren’t necessarily good things. The entire experience feels muted kind of stuck in between the past and present, and failing to deliver the best parts of either.

Gravity Guy 2 ($0.99, Universal) offers less than the original, and subpar gameplay to boot making it one to just run right past. As the old saying goes, don’t mess with success, and with that in mind your best bet is to pick up the original Gravity Guy ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone) / ($1.99 -> Free, iPad) as it has dropped to free in honor of the sequel.

R.B.I. Baseball 14 is sadly one to skip, as there are some misgivings that just can’t be overlooked, and drag down all of the other good parts of this baseball game. It’s as though R.B.I. Baseball 14 hit what looks to be an inside the park home run, but gets tagged out at home.
