The graphics are stellar, the music and sounds are amazing, and the controls are straightforward and intuitive. The mashup of match-three puzzle RPG and tactical strategy works out incredibly well, and the game is challenging with high replay value. The variety in mission objectives also offers up something new for each mission, so it’s not always the same thing for every level. And if you like a good dystopian sci-fi story, then Ticket to Earth has that too. And for what it’s worth, the RPG aspect of the game, in terms of character skills and upgrades, is surprisingly in-depth. Ticket to Earth is a keeper, and is one of the more enjoyable titles that have been released so far this year (and it’s been a good year for games).

Overall, Campfire Cooking is one of the best puzzle games you can get for your iOS device. The game looks gorgeous, and the sound mimics the camping experience. The controls are easy to learn and optimized for touch screens, so there's no issues there. The puzzles have a nice complexity to them, ranging from easy to tricky, but once you figure out a puzzle you've been stuck on, it's incredibly satisfying. Having the option to play levels in any order you want is also a nice perk.

As someone who hasn't played Project Highrise before but appreciates tower building sims, I am loving the game so far. I'm still just in the shallow end of the game, but I'm enjoying it greatly so far. The visuals are great, the music is delightful, and the controls are optimized for this kind of thing. I can easily see myself picking this up whenever I have some time around the house and just losing myself for a few hours just building my dream tower.

A refreshing take on the zombie game that while simple, and perhaps without longevity, is full of immersive atmosphere.

If you grew up with platformer games and want a real gem to add to your collection, then Star Knight is worth a look. It joins the ranks of other fine platformer games like Le Parker: Sous Chef Extraordinaire and Goblin Sword.

I think it's great when a game has levels that may take a few tries to complete, because you aren't able to rush through it and be bored.

I’m always a sucker for classic arcade game homages, and this is definitely one of them. I love the vintage pixelated graphics and authentic chiptune soundtrack of Mr. Particle-Man, and the controls are easy to get used to. There are a ton of challenging levels for the price, and like any real arcade game, there’s a lot of reasons to keep playing.

I'd recommend this if you enjoy time management games or have liked the other games in the series, but be warned: it's more of the same gameplay, so don't expect something entirely fresh and new.

While I'm still fairly early on in Life is Strange, I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. I love the realistic graphics, voice acting and music, and the controls are pretty decent for touch screens. It's my first time playing, and the story got me hooked right away. This is one iOS game that is well worth the money and I look forward to checking out the next episodes.

If you’re a fan of action-packed dungeon crawlers that are inspired by roguelikes but without the permanent-death-so-you-start-over-from-square-one element, then Heroes of Loot 2 is the perfect match up for you.

The core of this game, though, is filled with fun and frantic gameplay. Being able to control the game's music is the cherry on top. This is definitely a cool and quirky game. Tower defense fans will definitely do well to grab a copy before Tadstock blows it up.

Alike Studio had a hit on their hands with Love You To Bits, and they definitely have created another gem with Bring You Home. The game's cute cartoon-style graphics are sweet and lovable, while the soundtrack tugs at your emotional heartstrings. Controls are intuitive, and it's just fun to watch the outcome of each possible path that you create. This is a true gem for puzzle fans.

The visuals are breathtaking like the original, but with much more vibrant tones. The soundtrack is engrossing and adds to the experience, and the controls are easy enough for anyone. The original Monument Valley was a monumental experience for me, and this sequel only reinforces that.

While I've tried out many point-and-click adventure games in the past, not many of them clicked with me. However, Thimbleweed Park seems different, which is probably due to the comedy involved with the characters, dialogue, and story. I also am a sucker for pixel art style games, so of course I had to check this one out when I saw it on the App Store. The interaction system is different and opens up many more possibilities on how you can interact with the world around you, which I love.

Despite the minor inconveniences, I'm enjoying It's Full of Sparks a lot. The game is downright beautiful on Retina HD and Super Retina displays. The whimsical music is great to relax to, and the controls are easy enough for anyone to learn. I always like challenging games, as it's incredibly satisfying when you manage to overcome a stage you're stuck on, and It's Full of Sparks provides just that. Hopefully the kinks get ironed out sooner rather than later.

Once I started Florence, it was hard to stop. I went from knowing nothing about Florence to knowing everything about her daily life and then about her and Krish. It reminded me of my relationships, and I'll admit it — I got quite emotional. I love slice of life experiences, and Florence is definitely one you don't want to miss.
