With better cut-scenes, more realistic driving physics, and a cinematic story, Mafia holds its own. While not as revolutionary as "GTA 3," it’s solid and oozes style.- All Game Guide

The only downfall of Curse is that it seems to end abruptly...That aside, The Curse of Monkey Island is a magnificent game that almost any adventure game fan should be able to enjoy. Its great fun and humorous attitude should appeal to most gamers.- All Game Guide

Definitely a title worth looking into for newcomers to the genre, since the learning curve is fairly small, while veteran RTS gamers will find quality gameplay with an emphasis on strategy.- All Game Guide

Pays homage to 8- and 16-bit games with its emphasis on high-intensity action and level design that requires skill with the controller. Jet Force Gemini just may remind you of the frustrating, yet engrossing, fun you had back in the 8-bit era.- All Game Guide

It’s not a title that has you playing for weeks on end, but it will be pulled off the shelf more often than you initially thought, if only to experience the fluid control and opportunity to trash talk opponents while initiating some of the most outlandish moves ever witnessed in a hoops game.- All Game Guide

The four-button (as opposed to six-button) control scheme takes some getting used to, but the game captures the spirit, the fun, the intensity, the depth, and the overall look and sound of the original remarkably well.- All Game Guide

So, for all of it's action and nerve wracking moments, if you only play games to beat them the first time through, I'd suggest renting Resident Evil 2.- All Game Guide

Gameplay seldom strays from long-established RPG convention, but Golden Sun incorporates some of the best elements of classics such as the Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, and even Legend of Zelda series, in its own distinct and unified style.- All Game Guide

Dynasty Mode is the main selling point and it is a lot of fun, especially the recruiting. After getting wrapped up in the Dynasty Mode you might even forget about Madden, at least for a short time.- All Game Guide

Where the original had lots of hack-'em-up action, this one replaces it with a puzzle (flipping and moving blocks into their appropriate locations). And they're hard – don't be surprised if you find yourself stuck for hours in one room.- All Game Guide

When in the first-person view, it is occasionally difficult to see what lies on the other side of Lara's back. It would have been helpful if she became transparent while in this mode, instead of making the player struggle with the angle. Fortunately, the instances where this affects gameplay are relatively few.- All Game Guide
