Then there's the mostly drab level design, the 'who cares' story and the often repetitive gameplay.- AceGamez

It's a shame that Alien Hominid ends - that's my only gripe with the whole game. It ends. But then, you can play through it again and again with friends, turning up the difficulty a notch each time.- AceGamez

I can't tell you how impressed I am with the quality of sound, not only that this game produces but from the DS itself. It rivals anything your television can put out and it even has a surround sound option.- AceGamez

A game has suffered from over development of one facet of its gameplay at the expense of the other. While the tournament aspects are as close to a perfect representation of the real world of Beyblading as you could expect from the Gameboy Advance, the RPG elements appear to be an afterthought added to tie the game to Season 3 of the anime.- AceGamez

Viewtiful Joe 2 is as big a triumph as the original, resisting the urge to change a winning formula but building on it with even cooler settings, funnier bosses, more variety in the gameplay and a cool new way to manipulate time.- AceGamez

An unwieldy control system and restrictive camera view initially frustrate, but once you are used to it a whole world of deep and engaging gameplay opens up.- AceGamez

This is a cash-in with a couple of extras and very little touch-screen support.- AceGamez

With such a poor fighting engine, you're going to get bored very quickly; tapping on one button isn't going to please most fighting fans.- AceGamez

Whoever wrote the music for Bloodlines deserves a solid pat on the back; the creepy music really adds to the ambiance of the game and the action music is just great for drinking blood to.- AceGamez

Finest Hour may deter the novice of the gaming world, but those who love a challenge will find piles of enjoyment here.- AceGamez

The menus are cheap looking, the tunes tinny and the endings don't reward you in the way they should, being short and small. The whole thing has the feel of a title scrambled together at the whim of a marketing director keen to make a fast buck on the back of a wave of retro popularity.- AceGamez

Oozes superiority, quality, class and eminence; it's a cut above the rest, taking the fighting genre and painting it red.- AceGamez

This is definitely a title to show off to your mates - however, while it is easily one of the most original games I've seen in a while, I don't think it is the best the DS is capable of. It's a barrel load of love and laughs but I just know there's better to come!- AceGamez

A decent enough game in its own right; inarguably flawed but offering up a decent enough challenge and more wisecracking, wall-crawling, web-slinging, redhead-snogging action than you can shake a genetically altered spider's web at... in other words, it's worth checking out.- AceGamez

There's nothing truly groundbreaking (apart from Godzilla's feet) and there's plenty of room for improvement, but also very little to complain about and the astonishing level of destruction will most likely have you grinning like an imbecile throughout.- AceGamez

Those who remember the days of the rollerball and paddle controller and have a deep yearning to return could happily fork out ten to twenty quid for this, but anyone with less than a burning desire to revisit their youth may not feel that their reddies went in the right direction.- AceGamez

Even die-hard Fight Club fans who give it a little try, just to play as their favourite characters from the film will be woefully disappointed at the wasted use of the license.- AceGamez

With the lovely graphics comes lovely sound. In every respect the sound flatters the graphical side of things.- AceGamez

A lightweight storyline is balanced out by a hardcore car creation mode (at least on the visuals front) and all this is backed up by the delectable Brooke Burke. It's fair to say that it beats neither Midnight Club or Burnout, but it comes a pretty close second.- AceGamez

Great in short bursts and solving the main puzzles can be a real blast, however the game fails to deliver any serious replay value once you complete them and setting high scores will eventually become dull and tedious.- AceGamez

It almost angers me at times that publishers have the gall to demand a fee of £35 - £40 for simply applying a lick of paint to something that in essence people have played many times before.- AceGamez

The game as a whole is very forgiving - too forgiving in fact. If you're an experienced gamer, or even an adult who plays occasionally, you shouldn't find the puzzles, bad guys, bosses or exploration too much of a hindrance and will probably complete the game in about 10 hours.- AceGamez

As a rental title, Rumble Roses is a good choice for a drunken night in with the lads but you're never going to have a long term relationship with this one.- AceGamez

Stunning graphics, an amazing range of highly imaginative and sprawling locations, endless variety, engaging and challenging gameplay, loads of mini-games, cool weapons, super powers, vehicles, races, a grand and exciting storyline, great music, superb voice acting and plenty of humour- did I forget anything?- AceGamez

With quirky graphics, familiar sounds, a nice variation in missions and tasks, a high level of interaction where jobs are concerned and some great new power socials, The Urbz is a worthy addition to most peoples' collection.- AceGamez

This has quickly become my favourite and most often played game - and considering my statement a few months back that "I don't play driving games," that alone should tell you all you need to know about this outstanding racer.- AceGamez
