Deponia is an incredibly funny, affectionately designed adventure. The tale of the underdog who simply refuses to give up makes you smile again and again. The tasks need brains as well as patience, but stay logical most of the time. An entertaining addition to the adventure genre.

Soul Calibur 5 won't offer many surprises. Obiviously Project Soul doesn't want to tackle a modern "Weapon Master" mode, the campaign is shallow as always (and cast with a bunch of unlikable characters). But the fighting system is still one of the best around, the presentation is excellent and the controls spot on.

Puddle entertains as much as it frustrates. Some stages you clear at your first try, others you start 40 times or more. But if you are willing to overcome this adversity you`re rewarded with a fascinating physics-based puzzle adventure.

On one hand you have the atmospheric stages on board the Queen Zenobia with constant changes between horror and terror elements. Unfortunately in latter levels the classic formula mutates to a simple action game that is average at best, even though visually Revelations is easily one of the most impressive games on the 3DS.

Demanding challenges, a thrilling highscore chase and an editor – all rolled into one atmospheric jump&run. The inaccurate controls spoil the fun, though.

You won't have much fun with this remake – unless you're an oldschool arcade aficionado. The basic core with its semi-tactical rescues stands the test of time, but the design is too simple and too frustrating to keep you occupied.

Within the overcrowded genre of "endless runners" Whale Trail stands out thanks to its psychedelic artdesign, while the mechanics are similar to the likes of Tiny Wings or Jetpack Joyride.
