The 15 Worst Movies of 2019
Above are the lowest-scoring films released in the United States between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. Films are ranked by Metascore (an average of grades given by top professional critics) prior to rounding, and any titles with fewer than 7 reviews are excluded. All scores are from December 22, 2019.
(#5) Finally released in January after sitting on the shelf for over a year, this nonsensical sci-fi thriller stars Keanu Reeves as a scientist who attempts to bring his wife and children back to life after they perish in a car crash. Sadly, critics found it too "dour" and "boring" to work as so-bad-its-good entertainment.
“Replicas is chock-full of histrionic what-ifs that seem to hyperventilate so hard in their delivery that they don’t have enough oxygen to actually blow anyone’s mind. It would be the stuff of future cult screenings if it wasn’t so boring and muddled.” —Emily Yoshida, Vulture
