The 15 Worst Movies of 2017
Above are the lowest-scoring films released in the United States between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017. Films are ranked by Metascore (an average of grades given by top professional critics) prior to rounding, and any titles with fewer than 7 reviews are excluded.
(#2) En route to a Florida vacation, two women (Alexandra Daddario, Kate Upton) find themselves with an unexpected layover in St. Louis. Because this is the 21st century, they spend their time there exploring local cultural institutions and discussing aspects of their lives that have nothing to do with men. Kidding! They spend the remainder of the film competing with each other to secure the affections of a handsome man they met on their flight. It's not the first film directed by actor William H. Macy—that would be the less awful Rudderless—but he may want to find better material to work with should he choose to direct again.
“Second-tier airline safety videos are more entertaining than this fourth-rate comedy. Flight attendants on Southwest’s less-traveled routes are far funnier than the cast here. Watching a lonely suitcase circle a baggage claim conveyor belt is more diverting.” —Kimber Myers, Los Angeles Times
