The 15 Worst Movies of 2015
Later this week, we'll reveal our final ranking of 2015's best movies—a fairly impressive group overall. First, however, it's time to explore the films that achieved something a bit more dubious: the year's worst reviews. Below, we rank 2015's lowest-scoring films (among those releases receiving at least 7 reviews from professional critics).
The timing could not have been more awkward. This FIFA-produced hagiography about Sepp Blatter (played by Tim Roth) was released just days after Blatter was forced to resign as head of the global soccer organization. The film itself is one of just four titles in Metacritic's history to receive the minimum possible Metascore of 1, and the first since 2005's Chaos. Made for a reported $26 million, Passions grossed all of $607 in the U.S. and less than $200,000 worldwide.
