Debuts January 22 on TNT. Are you enjoying Netflix's Mindhunter but find yourself wishing that it took place in the 19th century instead? Then this adaptation of Caleb Carr's best-selling crime novel is for you.
In 1896 New York, Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans, and Dakota Fanning form an unlikely trio who attempt to track down a serial killer who is targeting boy prostitutes in the city. To do so, they'll use cutting-edge (for the time) techniques such as fingerprinting and forensic psychology. Brian Geraghty also stars as the New York police commissioner, a man by the name of Theodore Roosevelt. Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) is among the producers and writers (as is Hossein Amini, Drive), though he does not direct.
