Debuts January 20 on BBC America. Last year's highest-rated TV show in Britain gets a belated U.S. premiere, making it the can't-miss documentary series of the winter. This five-part sequel to 2001's The Blue Planet follows on the heels of last year's hugely acclaimed nature miniseries Planet Earth II. The new series, which examines the variety of life present in our planet's oceans, was filmed over four years, including 6,000 hours of underwater dive time. It features a score by Hans Zimmer (including a collaboration with Radiohead) and narration by David Attenborough.
