10 Films to See in February
The shortest month of the year is typically an uninspiring one at the cineplex. But this February is not without its intriguing releases, including a well-reviewed new horror film from Key & Peele's Jordan Peele, one of the best documentaries in recent memory, the year's only Polish vampire musical (so far), an Oscar-nominated animated tale, and sequels to recent successes like John Wick and The LEGO Movie.
Comedian Jordan Peele adds horror director to his resume with this story of Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend Rose (Allison Williams), whose weekend getaway with Rose’s parents (Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford) turns deadly. Also starring Caleb Landry Jones and Keith Stanfield, the film was a hit with critics when it premiered at a surprise midnight screening at Sundance.
