After receiving strong reviews for her 2011 debut Past Life Martyred Saints and its 2014 follow-up The Future's Void, singer-songwriter Erika M. Anderson detoured into film composing with the soundtrack to the 2015 film #Horror. Late this summer, she returns with a proper studio album follow-up, a politically charged set (dealing with poverty and alienation in America's heartland) co-produced by Anderson with Jacob Portrait of Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
