Summer TV Preview: 25 Notable Shows
In the gallery above, find details on the most noteworthy TV premieres coming this summer, including newcomers such as Castle Rock, Pose, Sharp Objects, and Jack Ryan, returning favorites like Arrested Development and Luke Cage, plus a handful of movies, miniseries, and specials.
Debuts May 19 on HBO. At least half a dozen American networks (even PBS!) will provide live coverage of the wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on May 19th. But only one—HBO—will broadcast the ceremony with live commentary from Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan, last seen anchoring Amazon's Rose Parade coverage on January 1st. (For some reason, they bear an uncanny resemblance to Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon.) Tim Meadows and other guests will join the Funny or Die-produced broadcast, which will air live at 7:30am ET and get a primetime replay at 9:45pm (in all timezones) for the non-early-risers among you.
