Debuts June 14 on CBS All Access. It's a strange story indeed—but it's also true. The latest CBS All Access exclusive traces the colorful life of groundbreaking 20th century rocket scientist Jack Parsons, who co-founded the famed Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena and then played a major role in the "religious movement" (aka "sex magick cult") led by occultist Aleister Crowley. Based on a nonfiction book of the same name, the series comes from writer Mark Heyman (Black Swan, The Skeleton Twins) and stars Jack Reynor (Sing Street), Bella Heathcote, and Rupert Friend. David Lowery (A Ghost Story) directs all 10 episodes, which will stream weekly on Thursdays.
