Debuts May 10 on Netflix. Michael C. Hall returns to the small screen in this eight-part Netflix thriller set in the UK (though it's actually a French production). Created by novelist Harlan Coben (Tell No One), Safe finds Hall playing a surgeon and widower who is attempting to raise his two children on his own after his wife's death in a high-end gated community. But then one of his daughters goes missing ... and secrets are exposed. Early critical reactions to the first two episodes (which screened at the inaugural Canneseries festival last month) have been mixed-to-good, though Hall's attempt at a British accent does not appear to be a success.
