Beck's "happy" and "uplifting" follow-up to 2014's Grammy-winning Morning Phase was originally intended to arrive shortly after that album, only to be delayed multiple times—with its most recent release date, in November 2016, coming and going without any sign of the still-untitled LP. The most recent update on the Strokes-influenced set (which he produced with Greg Kurstin) came in a recent New York Times feature, which Beck reported that the still-untitled album would arrive this spring.
