Above, find details on all of the notable TV premieres coming this spring, from returning favorites like The Handmaid's Tale, Westworld, The Americans, and Legion to newcomers such as Trust, Krypton, The Terror, and Barry.
Debuts April 7 on HBO. Every year, HBO is good for at least one based-on-a-true-story drama seemingly engineered to dominate the Emmys' TV movie categories. This spring's exemplar is a Barry Levinson-directed examination of the recent Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal that rocked Penn State's college football program, with the film focusing mainly on a two-week period when the story first became public. Al Pacino stars as the late Penn State football coaching legend Joe Paterno, and his co-stars include Riley Keough, Kathy Baker, and Greg Grunberg. Oh, and Anthony Scaramucci is credited as a producer on the film, so perhaps you'll see him at the Emmys this fall.
