Season one of this X-Men-related FX series from Fargo creator Noah Hawley never could quite recapture the magic of its opening episode—one of the most stunning debuts in recent memory—but managed to take viewers on quite a trip nevertheless. Picking up a year later, this slightly longer (at 10 episodes) second season returns the Dan Stevens-led cast and introduces a few new faces such as Homeland's Navid Negahban (who takes over as Farouk from Aubrey Plaza, though she also returns).
