Debuts March 26 on AMC. This 10-episode adaptation of the novel by Dan Simmons is inspired by true events—specifically, the Royal Navy's 19th century search for the Northwest Passage—though it adds a bit of a supernatural horror element to the wintry proceedings. (There's a reason it's titled The Terror.) Produced by Ridley Scott, the series stars Jared Harris, Tobias Menzies, and Ciarán Hinds. Early buzz has been good for this first season of what could be an ongoing anthology series.
