RESCHEDULED FROM AUGUST: Sci-fi series debuts September 21 on Disney+
Diego Luna returns as the Rebel Alliance pilot/intelligence agent Cassian Andor (whom he first portrayed in 2016's Rogue One) in Disney's fourth live-action Star Wars television series. A prequel to that film set mostly five years earlier (though flashbacks will go even further back in time), the gritty spy thriller Andor traces its title character's evolution into a rebel leader and also returns Alan Tudyk as the voice of droid K-2SO, Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma, and Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and also stars Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgard, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller. Veteran screenwriter Tony Gilroy serves as creator and showrunner, while his fellow writers include Beau Willimon (House of Cards) and Stephen Schiff (The Americans) and directors include Toby Haynes (Black Mirror). Season 1 runs 12 episodes (streaming weekly, though you'll get three episodes to start) and a second 12-episode season begins filming this fall.
