The first new entry in five years in Bandai Namco's long-running fantasy RPG series Tales of... was first revealed in 2019 and was originally scheduled to debut last year before being pushed back to 2021. Early looks at the game, which is single-player only, suggest some changes to the usual formula, including a greater emphasis on action (with combat fully integrated into the flow of the game) that plays like something akin to Monster Hunter: World, as well as a bigger world to explore.
