Kena: Bridge of Spirits

The debut game from indie studio Ember Lab impressed attendees of this year's Tribeca Festival, where the game was one of the entries in that formerly film-only festival's first official games showcase. The Zelda-inspired, story-driven action-adventure reminded some viewers of the work of Pixar based on early previews—perhaps not coincidentally, given Ember's pre-gaming history as an animation house. You'll play as the titular Kena, who works to guide the recently deceased to the spirit world with the aid of her magical abilities as well as a bevy of adorable little companions called the Rot.
