Sci-fi series debuts September 3 on HBO Max. Originally developed for TNT, this HBO Max original sci-fi series marks the American TV directorial debut for Ridley Scott. He directs the first two episodes of a 10-episode season set on a mysterious planet where a pair of androids are tasked with raising human children in a colony that is being torn apart by religious differences. The series comes from screenwriter Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners) and stars Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Amanda Collin, and Abubakar Salim. Early reviews are mostly positive.
